| Adhesive to reattach rubber footpad? | 17 May 2005 13:02 GMT | 4 |
We have a 2000 Subaru Forester, and recently the rubber footpad (to the left of the brake where the emergency brake would be, if it were a foot pedal) just fell off. Apparently the adhesive they used wasn't mixed right or something, because it came off all at once.

I need to get the right turn signal lamp out to check the bulb. It has been into the dealer twice and had the connector replaced and the bulb (seat) "tweaked", but still it either quits blinking or blinks rapidly. Something is loose or wrong and I thought I'd take a look at it ...

| '99 OBS - rear tire clearance problem | 15 May 2005 01:14 GMT | 4 |
With my old tires I would occasionally "bottom out" when going over a dip at higher speeds. It was so seldom that I didn't worry about it. Now, with my new Goodyear Triple-Treads, it happens much too often....bumps, dips, extra weight in the car. What's happening is that the ...

I will need new brake pads for my Subaru Outback 2001. Is there any brand besides OEM someone has tested and could recommend? I believe even OEM pads are probably made by companies which sell them under their own brand.

A friend of mine had his 3rd generation Outback's knock sensor replaced and they told him to use higher octane fuel because the other stuff was hard on the sensor. I believe that the vehicle probably needs a higher octane fuel but I don't

| o5 xt sunroof question/poll | 13 May 2005 21:27 GMT | 1 |
My users manual says the switch for the sun roof clicks open half way and on close goes all the way. Mine is backwards. Click open all the way and on close only goes half way and you have to manually start it again to close all the way.

The wife recently bought an '01 Outback wagon. Great car, but the brake pedal effort is really high - sometimes she's afraid she won't be able to stop the car. All the components in the brake system appear to be in good shape. I suspect that someone has installed super-hard ...
