98 Outback Projector Headlights01 Jul 2005 00:39 GMT2
Browsing on Ebay yesterday I noticed that some guys are selling Japanese
domestic market headlights for the 1995-99 vintage Legacys that have
projector high beams, and people seem to be bidding pretty big $$ for them.
Would these really work in a US-market Outback? Since they drive ...

We got a new Outback around 2 months ago and I'm finally getting around to
reading the manuals.
According to the manual, the Subaru/Kenwood DVD Navigation system should
have an option to switch between 2D and 3D, but the option is not where it

B9 Tribeca: The Edsel for a new Century?29 Jun 2005 19:14 GMT21
Well, I test drove one yesterday. It handles OK. Still can use
more leg room. (why can't the Japanese build a car for 6'4 people
like me?) I still can't get over however just how butt ugly this car
looks like! Subaru would be wise to scrap the whole front end

prior, I also tried different keys.
96 OBW overheating question of the afternoon....29 Jun 2005 09:17 GMT15
I understand that there is a Subaru sold additive to help in combatting
the overheating problem.  Is the product sold under a different name at
auto parts stores such as Auto-Zone, Strauss Auto or at Wal-Mart?
Thanks.
Forester VS Element 29 Jun 2005 09:06 GMT11
OK group, I need some help.  The wife wrecked our '01 and it looks like it
may be totaled.  So maybe we are the market for a new car.....it was a no
brainer for me to get a new Subie but she makes a point that I can't
dismiss.  Our kids are getting bigger and they need more leg room ...
Brother-In-Law Puts Down Subaru by Comparing to Dodge Intrepid29 Jun 2005 03:45 GMT21
I'm in need of some solid facts and have been searching the web with some
success.  My Borther-In-law who likes to argue about things decided to go
after my Subarus.  I have a 1997 Subaru Legacy and a 2001 Subaru Legacy
Sedan.   Even though he just recently had to get rid of his ...

We got the cars at dealers in different towns.
Questions: How common is this situation? How easy is it to fix? Should

patching paint chip on WRX bumper?28 Jun 2005 13:20 GMT3
How do you patch chipped areas on the bumper? Since the paint has some
thickness to it, I think I need some sort of filler to smooth it out with
the rest of the bumper before applying the touch up paint.
Any idea where to get this "filler" or what it is called?
