Is the term Dealer incentive the same as Regional incentive?
Is Customer Rebate a form of Regional Incentive?
Have seen Subaru selling not a car, but04 Jul 2005 02:55 GMT14
I visited a Home Depot and got “shocked” by the fact that they sell
pressure washer with the Subaru engine. Subaru logo with all the stars
in the oval was on it as well as the Fuji Heavy Industry name.
Have to admit, that if that would be a lawn mower, with the boxer engine
Rear break pad change04 Jul 2005 02:09 GMT2
All,
I'm going to replace my rear brake pads on the 98 Legacy L for the first
time.  She has 92K miles!  Started "hearing" the need to replace the pads
two days ago.  I have replaced the front pads (and had the rotors turned
NJ state inspection03 Jul 2005 23:43 GMT16
I got a chuckle today at the NJ state inspection station. We need
inspections every two years. As folks here said, my car is exempt from
the emissions test, because of the way they administer it. They have a
set up with rollers, where the drive axle of a two-wheel drive car
no power in the power adapter03 Jul 2005 23:22 GMT5
I have a 2001 Outback and my cigarette/power adapter has no power.  The
green LED that is behind it is working fine.  I have removed the panel
from the dashboard, but I have not figured out how to get the lighter out of
the dashboard panel.  Does anyone have any ideas on why its ...
1997 Subaru Legacy GT-check engine light03 Jul 2005 21:36 GMT1
How do I clear, reset or get rid of a blinking check engine light?
radio wiring subaru SVX03 Jul 2005 15:58 GMT5
I had my car in the shop.  They took out the driver seat to repair.  Now my
radio antenna will not go up and the light that shows what station you are
on does not show up at night.  The radio works, but without the antenna up
it is poor reception.  Anyone got ideas where to look to ...
1993 Suburu Loyale - Lurching problems03 Jul 2005 06:36 GMT6
I have a 93 Subaru Loyale Station Wagon which is having some
’lurching’ problems.  It’s rather odd; when I first start the engine,
it drives relatively fine (minor hesitations), but after I drive for a
bit, (20 min or so)it lurches terribly in 1st and 2nd gear, and will
Bumper cover removal?03 Jul 2005 05:34 GMT1
I need to remove the plastic bumper cover from my US spec STi to add a
cold air intake. Is there a trick to removing those clips?

Cleaning cloth seats..03 Jul 2005 04:04 GMT1
I have a 04 outback with cloth seats and I did something 'really'
stupid.. i.e. left a box of chocolates on the back seat and forgot that
the weather changed from sub zero winter into WARM summer.
needless to say the chocolate now adorns the wonderful back seat...
Sheepskin seat cover? Beads?02 Jul 2005 01:12 GMT6
I'm just crazy about our brand new Forester. We'd been considering the XS,
but the only ones (AT) left were X's or LL Bean. We chose the LL Bean, and
I've been surprised by how hot and sticky the leather can feel. I've been
even more surprised that I can't find any sheepskin seat ...
What can they improve on the 2006 Outback01 Jul 2005 18:16 GMT6
Was there any glaring problems or niggles on the 2005?
I wouldn't mind seeing a red one again.

2003 Outback Owners manual online?01 Jul 2005 16:31 GMT7
Does Subaru let you download a copy of the Outback owners manual
anywhere?
I've been lent a 2003 Outback Limited (nice car) but no manual.
I've figured most things out but I like to know it all  ;-)
Outback tyre choice (AUS)01 Jul 2005 05:41 GMT12
Any recommendations for best 215/60x16 tyre for a 99 OB Ltd in south coast
NSW? Mileage is roughly 30% hwy, 40% town, 25% secondary roads & bends, 5%
dirt, gravel & occasional snow & mud.
I find Geolander 040s too squirmy; current Federal FD1s good except for
Dash lights01 Jul 2005 05:04 GMT3
Or, how many Subaru owners does it take to change lights in the dash
cluster?  According to Haynes, I must remove the cluster to replace the
growing number of burned out lights in the cluster.  Is this a tricky
project?  Any hints?  If I disconnect the negative battery cable and ...
