How far back do I have to go to avoid power windows? I'm looking for something small with good gas mileage, like maybe a Legacy, but I will not tolerate power windows, power door locks, or an automatic transmission. I would like air conditioning. I know all the power stuff is ...

I'm trying to install bike carrier on roof on 2001 Forester. The bike carrier manufacturer (Yakima) claims to support 2001 Forester. However, I can't fasten the front side of the bike carrier to the front roof rail, because hole in the bike carrier (where I could put a bolt) is ...

The foam will make it's way into the cylinders, past the piston rings and end up spewing out anywhere it can. Some idiot overfilled my motorcycle, funny thing is the capacity is printed right over the filling spout. Long story short riding it home I stopped at a light and found ...

So, last weekend I did it. I bought a 2005 2.5i Outback 5 speed. There are tons of automatics left here in northern California, but not many manuals remaining. I went with the 5 speed for the better mileage and the $1000 lower price tag. I only have 400 or so miles on it but am

| Forester rear strut | 19 Aug 2005 08:01 GMT | 4 |
wat is the expected life of a rear (selfleveling) strut of a Forester '99 ? They're very expensive (400 dollar in Europe) and mine has broken after 150.000 km. I think it's a bit early. I never drive with a caravan or trailer.
