RaceMOD's Performance Module is a great way to add up to 20+

increases up to 12 lb+/ft., as well as improvements in throttle
response.
OBW Bumper Corner Molding15 Aug 2005 00:38 GMT1
Just got an OBW, L.L. Bean model, 2005.
I looked at the bumper corner molding that Subaru sells for $60 and
was wondering if anyone knew of a source for a bumper molding that would
go clear across the front bumper and the rear bumper (rather than just
Vibration after CV Boots replaced13 Aug 2005 03:44 GMT2
We have a '97 Legacy outback, automatic, 95,00 miles. It just spent two
days at the dealership having repairs done which included front & rear
brakes, and "both front CV boots due to leakage."
Now the problem - while driving the car and come to a stop at a light
2001 Forester TIMING BELTS12 Aug 2005 14:14 GMT2
I have a 2001 Forester, which I bought in May 2000, with 176,000
miles. In June I took it to the Dealer for a new clutch and new timing
belt, and some other work, totaling about $2,000. I’ve had the car
back for about one week in the last two months, while the Dealer has
change Remote Keyless Entry sound12 Aug 2005 13:43 GMT10
A friend's 1998 Impreza Outback Sport makes a nice chirping sound when he
uses the remote keyless entry. My 2003 Impreza Outback Sport gives two brief
blasts of the horn.  Loud enough to wake the neighbors. How hard would it be
to have the sound changed? Can a little chirper be ...
switch to 2WD....12 Aug 2005 09:28 GMT5
hi, me again, since the gas price is hiking, I wonder if subaru impreza is
capable driving on 2 front wheels? since 4WD will consume more gas, and
since it's not winter yet, I didn't see 4WD is needed  badly.
my question is: will it damage the driving system? will it cause any

extended warranty price list?12 Aug 2005 01:07 GMT1
Any idea where to find the price list for extended warranty from subaru?
This sort of thing should be available online but I cannot find it on
subaru.com.
The car is a 2002 WRX and the new car warranty expired last month.
Twin turbo boost gauge11 Aug 2005 20:55 GMT2
Not my problem but this person which I believe a 94 twin turbo Legacy wants
to install a boost guage and can't find a good line to T into.  I've never
even seen a twin turbo and suggested using the line to the wastegate
controller.  This person tried  but the ggauge only shows ...
Extended Warranty for Outback Wagon?11 Aug 2005 16:48 GMT4
I'm just about ready to put down the cash for the base 2.5i wagon. I'll
need to hold onto it for at least 5 to 8 years and usually average 18K
to 24K miles a year.
I've read about a few cases of leaking head gaskets and clogged egr
cyclical purring vibration 2003 Impreza at 70mph11 Aug 2005 14:32 GMT1
Driving home my (pre-owned) 2003 Impreza Outback Sport, I noticed a cyclical
vibration when the car reached about 70mph on the open highway. It was
barely noticeable....like a cat purring. Definitely cyclical: a very slight
shuddering for a few seconds, a couple seconds of silence, ...

vibration while turning11 Aug 2005 02:39 GMT4
Hi, folks,
I've got a 98 Forester S with 143K KMs on it.  I've been noticing that
when turning in a tight radius under acceleration, like turning at a
stop sign or turning into a driveway,  I get the feeling that my tires
2003 Forester Clunk Noise11 Aug 2005 02:07 GMT3
Help
I have been to the local dealer 3 times and they are unable to fix this
problem.  From what I can see the dealer is trying, but so far no results.
I can't pinpoint the (like a heat shield)  position of the sound.
Interference or non-interference?11 Aug 2005 01:22 GMT3
I think that's the right terminology.
Is the engine in my 2003 Baja an interference or non-interference engine
and which one self-destructs when the timing belt goes?  Oh yeah, it's a
belt right?  lol
