I talked with subaru consumer affairs and learned that if the paint is factory defect, it would be under warranty. The paint problem on the front bumper might pass for factory defect. It would ahve to be determined.

ok, now I realized that saab 92x is indeed a subaru with saab shell, but I've heard that it's much better interior, more reliable, and much more stiff suspension. Also I have $3500 accumulation on my GM visa card which can spent on Saab.

Sorry to bore anyone on another question of this nature. My 96 OBW (w/178k miles) when idling does not overheat at all. If does overheat when it is in drive. Does that mean that the headgaskets are gone or could it be something else? Thanks.

I have an 02 WRX with the 6 disc cd changer and factory subwoofer. When i turn on my dome light the sub woofer dims it during a kickdrum in the song. I never thought that sub was very loud, so why is it dimming the lights? a week ago i got a new battery because the original one ...

Just got a new OBW, LL Bean model and when I moved the <Support Our Troops> magnetic ribbon from my old car to the rear hatch door of the OBW, much to my surprise it would not stick, no matter where I put it on the hatch. Had to slap it on the side, next to the gas tank filler

I have Outback 2002 2.5 4AT. My problem is with right-hand side mirror. It won't go up or down when I try to adjust it. So, the switch (on the driver's door) for mirror adjustment is set on right-hand side mirror and I can move the mirror left-right, but cannot

the gusset (small triangle front rubber) of my right frontwindow of my Forester '99 leaks air, so a hissing noise is heard at highway speed. When I push the gusset (from inside ofcourse) against the window the windnoise disappears.

How to go about it? When I refused to take the car home last Thursday until they took care of some thing, I ended up taking the discounted offer of perma plate that protects UV and bird droppings, etc. (7 years warranty).

could anybody tell me what the Pollenfilter should look like? We got part number 72880SA000 says 050422A on the box, too. Is this the right filter for someone with allergies, or is this just a "normal" air filter? Just thought I should ask before I install it...
