Wiring Diagram for 91-94 Legacy Radio18 Sep 2005 05:10 GMT1
Does anyone have a schematic wiring diagram for the cassette player
WITH the front AUX input? Been losing out on bidding on these radios
and figure it would be easier to just try and add the aux jack on the
front for using the MP3 player in the car. (I know - just use the
Difference in 2005 Outback models17 Sep 2005 19:17 GMT1
I am looking at a possible Outback purchase down the road and I haven't
quite decided if I'll get a vehicle as old as 2001 model year or which.
While in the process of looking I noticed that this past year Subaru started
adding new 'models' to their Outback line.  For example ...

Anyone running an LPG Outback? 17 Sep 2005 08:56 GMT5
Currently driving 99 Outback Ltd. Subaru Aus don't recommend LPG & local
fitter can't source info or anyone who's done one, but apparently it's
available on the UK for the same engine ... (and no, I'm not going to
drive over!) Question is, has anyone in Aus had experience with a 2.5 ...

'01 Impreza RS - am I just having bad luck?17 Sep 2005 01:06 GMT5
I'm curious about something.  My '01 2.5RS has 90k miles on it now.
Most of it highway miles, and while I drive a bit aggressively, it's a
very smooth aggressive. No off-roading, no racing, no high-rev clutch
drops.

Stormtroopers And Gestapo Turned Loose In New Orleans16 Sep 2005 04:30 GMT48
I was disgusted and shocked to watch video of armed stormtroopers and
gestapo pointing weapons at innocent Americans.
Their mission: to drag people out of their homes.  I remember seeing
clips and hearing about the same thing in nazi germany.

If I us the jumper to force the Outback to two wheel drive, will I increase
my gas mileage from about 22mpg?
Best RPM for most efficient fuel consumption.15 Sep 2005 07:03 GMT60
I own a 2003 5 speed manual outback. I usually run my tacho at 3200 to
3500 RPM. Is this in fact the most efficient rpm for the engine? I
know that typically once you go over 110 kph fuel efficiency drops but
it depends on what rpm the engine in running at the point where most
Blizzak snows15 Sep 2005 05:00 GMT8
Getting a new Forester after driving my 1998, a 175,000 miles. I have
access(free) to a relatively new set of Blizzaks mounted on steel wheels
that are 205 60R16. The Foresters tires are 215 60R16.
Will there be any probs using these tires? The size diff seems to be
Does latest Outback allow input for iPod/MP3 player?15 Sep 2005 02:18 GMT7
Now that they don't have cassette decks and use an integrated sound
system, it would be annoying if they aren't putting some kind aux
line-in on the system.
Who wants to use a crappy FM transmitter.
Mirror Replacement (USA Forester XT 2005)15 Sep 2005 01:22 GMT2
I have the old style auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass. I want
to replace it with the new style mirror that has the "HomeLink"
function in addition to the compass & autodim.
I have heard that there is some sort of adapter needed. Is this true?
Comments on Baja needed....14 Sep 2005 21:14 GMT22
Trying to find a vehicle to replace both a Dodge Durango and a Dodge V10
Ram pickup. Obviously, neither of the above are "mileage makers" plus we
rarely use the pickup to haul anything but small amounts of yard waste.
Our Durango currently gets used to deliver computer systems ...
99 OBW - parts and labor on new alternator?14 Sep 2005 15:17 GMT3
All,
My 99 OBW has a dead battery.  Even after jump starting it and driving
around, the battery doesn't recharge.  I suspect the alternator and
