| Good Subaru dealer in Los Angeles area? | 31 Oct 2005 16:33 GMT | 20 |
Long story short-my wife is in LA, I am in central Ohio. This will be the case until we both move to Seattle in February. She needs a car (hers was totaled, currently driving a rental). We settled on a new 2005 or 2006 Impreza. She has little experience dealing with dealers;

| Tribeca test | 31 Oct 2005 16:07 GMT | 8 |
I have a Tribeca that I just took in for the 3000 mile oil change. I have been a little dissatisfied with the mileage that I get, so I watch the MPG display a lot while driving to see what kind of habits are the most desirable.

| Finally Had It with My Subaru Dealer | 31 Oct 2005 05:11 GMT | 51 |
Need to vent... Had been going to Colonial Subaru (Feasterville, PA) for _all_ service since I bought my car there (04 OBW LL Bean, 45K miles). I made an 8:00 AM appointment for an oil change. I show up at 7:45, only to be told that they

| '95 Legacy w/OBDII connector not OBDII compliant? | 30 Oct 2005 21:53 GMT | 8 |
I have a 1995 Subaru legacy in both automatic transmission and manual. Both cars have the obdII connector and say they are OBDII compliant (iso9141-2) on the emissions sticker, but they do not respond to obdII scans.

| Good source for invoice pricing? | 30 Oct 2005 21:20 GMT | 4 |
Is there a good source for invoice prices on new Subarus, the Impreza 2.5i "sport" wagon in particular? I've looked on http://www.cars101.com, but all they seem to list is the 2005 Impreza & the 2006 WRX STI.

| 95 Legacy handling woes - Road wandering | 30 Oct 2005 21:04 GMT | 2 |
I got a '95 Legacy L AWD with 177K and it doesn't handle so great. I had a '95 Legacy L auto when it had only 30k and the car went exactly where you pointed it. This car does not do that. I drive a newly paved interstate each day,

| Head gaskets in 96 Legacy Outback | 30 Oct 2005 18:22 GMT | 9 |
So I found a glob of oil in the coolant reservoir. Car has 192,000 miles. 2.5L automatic. Considering my options... 1. Replace the headgaskets and resurface heads. My mechanic suggests this is 10 hr. labor job. Will this be sufficient or should I go through the whole

| 2004 Subaru Legacy Headlights | 29 Oct 2005 10:58 GMT | 5 |
Has anyone else noticed that the dip (low beam) headlights on a 2004 (new shape) legacy don't seem to have a very big range? If I travel on a road with no street lights then it is nearly impossible to see more than about 2 metres in front of the car. Wondering if anyone else has ...

| Replacement seats for `95 Legacy Wagon | 29 Oct 2005 10:46 GMT | 10 |
My mom has a 1995 Legacy L wagon that just turned 274,000 miles and is running amazingly great. However because this car has been used so much in the last 10 years by myself, my mom, and sister, the drivers seat has become 'flat' so to speak. It's like the springs/foam or ...

| 92 Loyale AWD | 29 Oct 2005 06:58 GMT | 2 |
I just purchased a 92 Loyale AWD wagon (fully loaded) and the transmission made a "pop" and now wont go into gear. It still shifts through them all with no resistance, but the car remains in neutral regardless of what gear I put it in. Oddly enough, after this happened the ...

| Firestone FR680 M&S tires on a 2000 Forester L? | 29 Oct 2005 03:39 GMT | 5 |
Just wanted to see what people thought about this tire on a 2000 Forester L. I bought the car used a few months ago, and it already had a set (looks relatively new) of these tires on it. I live in Colorado, near Denver, and I want to make sure I have tires on the car that will ...

| Impreza wagon side air bags | 29 Oct 2005 01:45 GMT | 5 |
I'm looking at getting an Impreza 2.5 wagon for my wife. Not the WRX/STI, just the base wagon. I see the 2006's have side air bags, can anyone tell me what year these were added? I'd like to find a nice clean (ie CHEAPER) used 2003-2005, but I do want her to have the side

| Stopping 05 OWB Seat Chime | 28 Oct 2005 17:58 GMT | 49 |
My wife saw this online, re permanently disabling that truly annoying seat belt chime in the 05 OBW. Is this guy serious or is he pulling our collective leg? Anyone ever try this? If not, I'll bite and report back:

| Just bought 2006 Outback | 28 Oct 2005 17:16 GMT | 15 |
Employing the missing man negotiation technique with my wife and toddler- she was away when she needed to be there and when I wanted to cut the person off I started paying attention to my son, got a 2006 Outback with a dealer maintenance package for $22,939. This was the
