My wife has an 2005 Outback 2.5XT and a few days ago her check engine light came on and the car didn't want to accelerate. She turned it off, restarted and it has been fine since. We went in to the dealer who said the Tumbler Generator needed to be replaced. Can anyone ...

I am getting ready to lift the engine out of my daughter's impreza and was wondering what the best place is to lift this engine from. I see threaded holes on the cylinder heads so could probably bolt "I" bolts into them but is that the preferred way? I have a load leveller

I've been looking at an 02 outback on a local car lot. However, I routinely carry a few hundred pounds of gear for work in the back of my vehicle on a daily basis (the space behind the rear seat in the Outback is one of the attractive features for a vehicle of that size). On my ...

| a different trip computer problem | 30 Dec 2005 04:35 GMT | 6 |
The elapsed time function in my '06 Outback is screwy--or I'm not understanding how it's supposed to work. If I start the car then switch the trip computer to elapsed time, 100% of the time the display will be stuck on three horizontal dashes. If I simply leave the trip computer

| Subaru Extended Warranty... | 29 Dec 2005 12:58 GMT | 5 |
Greetings all, I was quoted a price of $1950 for a Subaru Extended Warrant from the 3 year/36,000 miles to 7 years/100,000 miles. Is this a good price and is it worth it? We put about 10,000 miles per year. This coverage would be for a
