Hey, all. I'm considering sticking some expanding foam in the space between the felt 'liner' of my 02 WRX wagon rear door and the door itself. I have a large stereo subwoofer in the back, and _something_ in there is

| Head gasket under warranty? | 24 Jan 2006 05:28 GMT | 1 |
I have a 2001 Outback with 93,000 on it. The shop found the left side cylinder head gasket and seals to be leaking. They replaced them, the timing belt, and a bunch of other odds and ends with all of it (except the belt itself) being under warranty.

| AWD maintenance | 24 Jan 2006 02:54 GMT | 9 |
I have a 2001 Outback, and an 06 Forester. My last car was a 97 Outback that was replaced by the Forester. At 126k the 97 started "bucking" in a tight turn. The dealer told me that the transfer case had locked up; they wanted to charge me $1,500 to make the repair. The also ...

| Question: removing hatch liner from 02 WRX Wagon | 23 Jan 2006 21:01 GMT | 1 |
Hi, all. I have a fairly big subwoofer in my WRX wagon, and the movement of air back there is making the felt liner of the hatch vibrate and rattle a bit. Rather annoying. I narrowed it down to this hatch cover by

| Show or no show? | 23 Jan 2006 17:21 GMT | 3 |
I haven't been to any auto shows this year and I'm wondering if the Baja is even on display at any of them. Has anyone seen whether the Baja is still sharing floorspace or is it pretty much one more nail away from being discontinued?

| I'm Tired Of These Ungrateful Hurricane Victims | 23 Jan 2006 02:22 GMT | 307 |
All those losers whining about "where's the government?", "We got nothing" "they leaving us here to die" and such are starting to really piss me off. Our society has created a whole population of people who rely on the government for all needs- housing, food, medical care.

| Timing belt idler - how smooth? | 22 Jan 2006 00:06 GMT | 5 |
My manual states to "check the idler bearing for smooth operation". Exactly how smooth do they mean? As smooth as a roller skate wheel and roll forever? Or, when you give it a whirl, it is supposed to rotate a couple of rotations and stop.

I have a 2004 Impreza 2.5 TS Wagon (automatic), that is approaching 60,000 miles. I had the brakes checked today (Friday), and was told that both the fronts and backs were down to 5 percent, and need to be done ASAP. I set up an appointment for this to be done on Monday. This ...

| Tire pressure | 21 Jan 2006 14:08 GMT | 21 |
Last Friday I put a set of Goodyear Comfort Treads on my 98 OBLW. The tire dealer filled them to 29 psi as spec'd on the door sticker, but the tires looked really flat at that pressure. The maximum recommended pressure on the sidewall is 44 psi but the dealer said that would ...
