2001 Forester brake system Question17 Jan 2006 21:12 GMT3
I read that this has standard 4 wheel disc brakes.  But upon inspection,
it looks like the rear brakes are drum brakes.  Are the rear brakes on
2001 Forrester, drum brakes, or is 4 wheel disc brakes an option.  or is
this some fancy type of disc brake I am not aware of yet?
Used 2001 Forester, good buy question17 Jan 2006 16:30 GMT1
I looked at a 2001 Forester yesterday.  It has 93,000 miles on it.  The
only problem I could find was the center dash vents were kind of
mashed/off track, and the HVAC would only blow on the floor.  The
business said they would fix this.
03 Outback w/ low rpm's17 Jan 2006 10:08 GMT1
Hello. I just purchased a 2003 Outback (2.5l, 5 spd man).  At idle, warm
or cold, the engine drops down to about 5-600rpm.  It will stall after
cranking it up 1st thing in the morning if I don't give it some gas.
Also, the headlights light dim, and the fan slows down when at a ...
Check engine light and stalling17 Jan 2006 03:35 GMT11
We have a very elusive problem. I hope one of you has had the same and
can give me some clues. The CEL light comes on, and the engine misfires
until restarted. The code is P1507, which says Idle Air failsafe. We
have replaced the idle air motor, the throttle sensor, the computer

Got in the other day, turned on the wipers and only the drivers side worked.
I can move the pass. wiper through the arc with little restistance. How are
the wipers connected to eachother?, gears, belt, link arms?
It looks like a pain in the a.s to get to the mechanism.

Hello, I have a 2002 Subaru Forester and I got a new Kenwood MP228 radio/CD
player for it. However, I cannot get good reception on the AM band.  One of
the strongest AM stations on the west coast, KGO 810 AM, does not come in at
all. The old unit worked just fine as far as AM ...
Daytime running lights (DRL) installation or fix15 Jan 2006 20:08 GMT15
Is there an easy way to ensure the headlights can never be turned OFF
while the vehicle is running (but still retain the ignition enabled
lights ON-OFF function)?
