I just checked the Trouble Codes causing my Check Engine light to come on (it's been coming on for years), and I had quite a few causes. I was just wondering if anyone could describe the best way to fix each of the problems (whether it's possible to fix myself or if I need to take

My 95 Legacy L Wagon right rear brake line failed, and I need to replace it. Got underneath the rear, and it appears as though I have to drop the gas tank (and possibly more) to get access to the brake line. Has anyone replaced their brake lines on a 95 Legacy? Is it painful, or,

| P0302, P0304 CEL codes | 08 Jan 2006 17:31 GMT | 3 |

My wife's 2002 Impreza 2.5 TS reports codes P0420 and P1442. First one is about the oxygen sensor - the diagnostic tool shows it works fine - there must be somre rare condition which triggers that. So I just choose to ignore it.

Now that I have my drive plate off, I noticed that the oil separator cover is cracked and weeped a little oil - the engine dropped some oil, nothing serious. This must have been the source. The old cover was plastic but the new one just received is aluminum.
