My son won the "LA Rush" customized 2006 Impreza WRX STI.  You  can see it

"see the pimped Subaru Impreza WRX STI."   Here is a list of the

problems with my dealer05 Jan 2006 05:46 GMT2
I need some advice.  I'm on my 2nd Subbie, both bought from the same local
dealer.  My problem is that with both cars, every time I take it in for
things they haver a standard reply - we couldn't reproduce the problem.
On my '04 Forester, I kept complaining of drive train ...

I have been shopping for a new genset. We have the cheapo Briggs and
techomsa ones the mid priced Kohler and Briggs vanguard and the top of the

Can the EJ22 engine (2.2L Legacy Engine) swap directly into a 97
Outback that previously had the EJ25 (2.5L Outback engine).
New Radio04 Jan 2006 17:19 GMT5
I'm kind of stumped on this problem. I recently installed a Pioneer
DEH-1700 CD player in my 1991 Legacy Wagon. I cut off the old
connecters and spliced on the new connector. I did not use several
wires, though. I did not use a red/yellow (which I believe controlled
Driveplate bolts -- left or right turn to get off?04 Jan 2006 16:59 GMT8
I have my engine out and would like to replace the drive plate as it is
all bent up.
The bolts that attach this to the crank shaft are these regular (lefty
loosy, righty tighty :) bolts or what? The tightening torque in the
defacto traction control?04 Jan 2006 06:29 GMT9
I have a 2000 OBW with the 5 MT, which has the completely
visco-mechanical AWD system (i.e. not computer controlled). Yesterday
there was freezing rain here in town and I was moving my cars around on
the driveway. There was a smooth layer of glare ice on the driveway,
2002 Outback driver side wiper03 Jan 2006 20:03 GMT1
The driver side wiper on my outback has a variable arc, i.e. sometimes
it will go right up to the trim on the left side, sometimes it will go
over the trim and other times it will stop short of the trim.
Is there an adjsutment I can make to correct this?
00-04 Outback hood deflector/bug shields03 Jan 2006 04:57 GMT8
Where would I go to purchase one of these?  I want to protect from the hood
from getting hit with small gravels that could ding it and or chip paint.
I've checked google pretty thoroughly and none of the sites I found have
hood deflectors made for 00-04 outbacks.

I'm looking to buy a an inexpensive second vehicle for a commuter ride.  Any
suggestions on what model Subaru gets the best mileage of the bunch?  I
make a 36 round trip commute each day. TIA
'93 subaru legacy wagon windshield wiper fuse keeps blowing03 Jan 2006 04:02 GMT1
This is a '93 subaru legacy wagon. We had the wiper motor replaced and
that didn't fix the problem with the fuse blowing.
The fuse only blows when we are on a street with rough surface. As soon
as some bumps are hit, the fuse blows.
Does our dealer's service suck?02 Jan 2006 22:37 GMT15
Why wife bought a new 2003 Legacy Outback wagon from a
dealer in Exeter, NH. I was suspicious that their service dept
may be a bit suspect when after $300+ 30K checkup, they didn't
even note the bad wipers and mis-pointed washer fluid nozzle.
