electrical problem 1998 Legacy07 Feb 2006 18:50 GMT2
with the ignition off, either the parking lights flash or remain steady
depending on position of parking light switch ..it drained my battery
overnight. the switch will not allow the lights to go off. Any tips?

My 2003 Forester XS, 45k miles, is at the dealer getting the
headgaskets replaced under waranty.  The dealer service guy called and
said I should get the valves adjusted for an additional 2hrs labor
($240) while they're doing the headgaskets.

I may be parting out a 1982 Subaru 2wd sedan. Runs good, engine is from
1981 2wd wagon, using 1982 intake and all.

 I am getting a mil light , scan tool at a state emission testing
station shows a P0170  Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 1)  2000 Forester
has 80,000 on it.
I had a Mil light in Sept 05, I can`t remember the p code though, but

hey i just got a '91 legacy 2.2L with full time 4WD, and the rear wheels
arent engaging at all it just remains in front wheel drive. ive checked
underneath and yes the rear drive shaft is bolted in and looks absolutley
good. so seeing how i live in colorado and i dont wanna get ...

I have a 2001 Forrester, 145000 miles  Automatic. We are getting a
vibration at about 55mph and up.
problem is not tires . Have had one axle changed due to bad boot.
My local mechanic looked at it and said the noise was coming from the

Two weeks ago I bought a 97 Impreza L Sedan with 73,000 miles for
$2,700. It was an old lady's car - never had been serviced except for
regular oil changes. I dont think she ever even had the tires rotated.
Anyhow, she died, and her family sold me the car. Creepy right! None of

I test drove the Legacy today and needless to say I am in love.  The
car had the 5-speed and the whole time it begged and begged to be
driven faster and faster.  I had to put the car in neutral and step on
the brake which is something I don't normally ever have do on a car

I've got a 1995 Impreza WRX import and it's running very lumpy when the
engine's cold. The ECU keeps telling me that it's the water temp sensor but
I'm getting fed up with changing that. Once the engine has warmed up again
it runs 'smoother' but seems to have lost some power.
