I noticed my 2001 Forester does not have an oil pressure gauge. I checked the subaru website and they offer a gauge kit for about $200 that adds vacuum, volgate, and oil temperature. But still no oil pressure. Do any of the Subarus have oil pressure gauges, or is there an

I bagan to change the ATF yesterday in my 1999 Subaru Legacy Wagon with 111000 miles. The drain plug opened and yielded approximately 4 quarts of brownish fluid. I changed the AT external filter ($33.00) USD adn proceeded to run the engine while refilling the tranny. After about

i know VERY little about cars so please help tried starting my subaru wrx 98 model today and when i tuned the key at the last click it kept on ticking and would not start. kind of like a ticking noise you would here 5 times a second. like a mackine gun ha ha.

I have a '96 Liberty (Legacy) and have had major tappet noise. This is apparently the only Subaru with hydraulic lash adjusters. At first I replaced the offending adjuster then next day the new one was noisy. I got another one from the dealer then this one gave up. It doesn't seem ...

My 1997 Sub rhd idles at about 2,000RPM and speed varies (hunts) without moving the throttle. code P1507 shows up on an OBD 2 tester, "idle speed control". Any ideas for the cure? I bought the car as a basket case, engine in the trunk. Just got it running. Thanks
