Oil Pressure gauge?03 Feb 2006 09:01 GMT4
I noticed my 2001 Forester does not have an oil pressure gauge.  I
checked the subaru website and they offer a gauge kit for about $200
that adds vacuum, volgate, and oil temperature.  But still no oil pressure.
Do any of the Subarus have oil pressure gauges, or is there an

another one from the dealer then this one gave up. It doesn't seem ...

REQ advice: Skid plates for Outback?01 Feb 2006 04:02 GMT2
I've bashed up the 2mm-thick crappy plastic "guarding" the
engine/transmission of my outback.  I see advertisements for 3rd party skid
plates to cover this region -- can anyone here recommend skid plates?

changing spark plugs01 Feb 2006 02:12 GMT7
I was talking to my new subaru mechanic the other day, and I told him
that while I knew very little about working on cars, I have a friend
who does all sorts of work on his Saturn. I told him we were going to
change my spark plugs, and he suggested that I don't do it on my own
