| 2001 H6 Subaru Outback Wagon auto transmission noise | 31 May 2006 20:22 GMT | 7 |
We have an LL Bean edition Outback Wagon with an automatic transmission, about 65K miles, that is starting to have some problems. First we had the left-front wheel bearings replaced (thumping noise when turning to the right). Now it seems that the transmission is

| 2006 Subaru 0.3OR VDC | 31 May 2006 02:40 GMT | 1 |
Si vous avec l'intention d'acheter un 2006 Subaru Outback 0.3OR VDC, je vous conseil fortement d'en faire l'essai avant de l'acheter, surtout pour la stabiliter sur la route.

| 225 to 235 .... Another "Tire size on a Soobie" question. (if there hasn't been enough already) | 31 May 2006 02:37 GMT | 11 |
I recently replaced all 4 tires on my '00 Outback Limited. The original Potenzas were toast; but 94K wasn't a bad run for those as OEM! The OEM size by the manual is 225/60R-16 , as were the Potenzas. I upped that to 235/60's, Falken ZE512's.

| New member..probs w/ 1993 Loyale radio presets | 31 May 2006 02:17 GMT | 3 |
Just bought a fantastic 93 Loyale...everything is perfect except the radio doesn't save presets I've put in.. In fact, every time I start the car, the radio goes to AM at the lowest frequency, not remembering anything, so every time I have to click for

| CV-joints gone after 95K miles? | 31 May 2006 00:47 GMT | 5 |
It does not seem right - my wifes 2002 Impreza TS 2.5 needs a pair of new CV-joints. The specific sound while turning started coming up at about 90K miles, now 5K later is quite strong. Any comments why their are gone so fast?

| 2005 Forester with spare on | 31 May 2006 00:17 GMT | 3 |
I know this has been discussed but I couldn't find it now that I want it. :( 2005 Forester XT. Got something in right-rear tire, probably a big nail. :( Had the wheel changed for the spare. The vehicle has about

| "Power" light flashes after start up | 30 May 2006 20:45 GMT | 2 |
Subaru Legacy, 1992, 168K - More and more frequently, when I start the car, the Power light on the dashboard (next to the Manual light) flashes 16 times. Generally, this is accompanied by extremely sluggish and stiff grinding when i turn sharply - i.e., into a parking space or

| Subaru Outback 2000 auto transmission died at 60K Miles | 30 May 2006 15:54 GMT | 1 |
In September, 2005, the auto transmission would not engage in drive for 10 to 20 seconds, and then with a kick. Subaru dealer said there were 59,000 miles on vehicle, but warranty expired a month before. Too bad for me. I took it to an independent transmission shop that changed ...

| QUESTION - Need some 'vocabulary' regarding my tranny... | 30 May 2006 10:02 GMT | 13 |
Hey, all. I'm seeing a symptom with my 02 WRX wagon which kind of bugs me, and I don't really know how to explain it intelligently. So I'll explain it anecdotally.

| 1991 Loyale CHECK ENGINE light | 30 May 2006 08:36 GMT | 5 |
I have a 1990 loyale with about 165,000 miles on it. The other day the check engine light came on, and has stayed on ever since. The oil pressure is good, and the temperature is good. Can anyone tell me what else could cause this light to go on?

| Stuck hatch on 99 OB | 30 May 2006 04:09 GMT | 2 |
I can't open the hatch! It happened before, and some guy just pulled harder and got it open. But this time, I hit it on the inside with a sledge without result (with the latch clamped, of course). Do I have to take the cover off of the inside of the hatch to fix it, or do

| Excessive Brake Dust | 29 May 2006 23:23 GMT | 4 |
I have noticed extreme dust build up on front wheels since replacement of front rotors and pads about 12000 miles ago. The wheel will go from completely clean to black with dust in 300 miles (500 km). I expect that the new pads may be a 'soft' friction material.

| My check engine light | 29 May 2006 21:39 GMT | 2 |
I have a 1990 legacy sedan with 175,000 miles on it. A few months ago the check engine light started to come on after the car had been driven for at least 10 minutes, then had been stopped and restarted. But, after a sufficient amount of down time, about 6 hours, the light would

| Airconditioner "cyclying" on 2006 OutBack wagon | 29 May 2006 15:38 GMT | 3 |
I have the 2006 Outback VDC 3.0, and, am noticing (more and more, I think) that when using the air conditioner, it seems to cycle on and off a lot. I don't mean that the fan cycles, the "cold" cycles--the blown air goes cold, then warm, then cold, every few seconds (seems like ...
