I know this is possibly a stupid question .....
how do I get off the window crank in a 1992 L Series Sportswagon. I don't
want to snap the thing with a screwdriver if I need a special tool etc.
Any help would be great.

Brake Squeak on 2004 Forester02 May 2006 18:06 GMT2
We have a 2004 Subaru Forester purchased in Minneapolis Minnesota. The
vehicle has 18,000 miles on it and the rear brakes are squeaking already.
They seem to squeak when going slow (maybe 5mph) when coming to a stop.
I think the driver side front brakes squeak too sometimes. There

an annoying buzzing vibration sound coming from the manual shifter when
driven at 2500-3000 rpm for a while. The
shifter is constantly vibrating a little, but it seems to reach a
Forrester 2006 vs 200702 May 2006 03:22 GMT1
I own a 1999 Forrester with 175K miles on it (my wife owns a 98 and

catalytic converter. Given the cost of doing that, I'm finally going to
"give in" and buy myself a new Forrester. So...was wondering, anyone

In Australia, they've recently released the 2006 Subaru Liberty

Does anyone know the implications of running it on lower octane gas,
