I seem to have a developing problem with the rear gate on My 02 Outback
wagon,  Close it...even almost slam it closed, and the indicator on the dash
shows it open.  This is annoying if for no other reason than the dome light
staying on.  Especially when I take stuff out of the rear, ...

I'm about to sit down sometime in the next two weeks and proceed with
'fixing' several stratches on and underneath the gold/Champagne colored

When I bought my 2006 Forester the dealer applied the bumper side
moldings to the front and rear bumper. These are just plastic strips
that are stuck on to the surface of the car.  To make a  long story
short, got a dent in the front bumper cover and the body shop replaced

I can't open the rear hatch on our Outback.  This happened before
about two years ago. We took it in to the dealer and they "fixed it"
by lubricating the linkage inside the door.
I can't figure out the correct way to remove the plastic panel inside

A local mechanic said that there is a known problem with the head gaskets
on the 2.5 Liter engines in a Subaru (in fact, he just had someone in to
repair the head gasket on their '05 Impreza).
