| First *long* trip with my STi. | 11 Jul 2006 07:16 GMT | 2 |
I took my '04 Canadian-Spec STi on an extremely long trip last month, and I thought I'd report to the group my experiences. It was relatively uneventful (but exhilerating) for the most part, except for one major hitch which put a bit of a crimp in the vacation experience.

I'm wondering if someone can shed some light on a problem I'm having with my '01 Forester. I had it into the dealer a couple weeks ago but they said the computer didn't find a problem. On most mornings, it hesitates when I go to move out of the driveway. I have the accelerator

| Can a tuneup affect the performance of a Griffin RoadTrip iPod player? | 10 Jul 2006 08:12 GMT | 2 |
Recently, I had the 100k mile tuneup on my 2000 OBW, including new sparkplugs, etc. Prior to the tuneup, my RoadTrip wireless FM iPod player worked well. Now, there is a high-pitched background tone that makes listening to the iPod through the RoadTrip unbearable.

| 2005 OBW - 2nd cat retired | 09 Jul 2006 14:35 GMT | 4 |
My wife's 2005 OBW just had it's second catalytic converter go south. The first was shortly after 15k and this one went at 22.5k (conveniently enough at a service interval). The dealer service manager says it's the way California gas is formulated and the ECU settings required. ...

| '97 Outback misfire/hesitation? | 06 Jul 2006 23:07 GMT | 4 |
This problem is hard to describe, but when just cruising down the road at speed the car will sometimes hesitate for an instant and then pick up again. Since the CEL never comes on I find it hard to believe it's a misfire, and wonder whether it might be the tranny searching for a ...
