| 1993 Subaru Legacy: sluggish window motors? | 16 Aug 2006 06:50 GMT | 2 |
Our 1993 Legacy has real slow window motors, and the sunroof is maybe a little slow as well. The windows struggle to close, and the auto-stop on the driver's one doesn't work. Does anybody else have this problem? Is it the motors, or does something need to be lubricated, or what? ...

| SPAM: Roadmate 860T impressions? | 13 Aug 2006 22:05 GMT | 1 |
I see all reviews on pricegrabber for Roadmate 860T are positive. Does anyone have any pet peeves about the unit? Buggy software still? Do the toys for 700/760 (like dashboard mount) work with 860? Thanks.

| Excessive tread wear on my XT | 13 Aug 2006 18:35 GMT | 4 |
I'm looking for feedback from other XT (Outback or legacy) drivers. My Outback XT has 27K miles on it. The original tires are just about done. Because I use snow tires, these tires probably only have 23K on them. Nice, even tread wear and inflation has been well maintained. ...

| Better gas mileage with Super octane? | 13 Aug 2006 05:19 GMT | 32 |
My car is an 2000 OBW, with a 2.5L H4, recommended gasoline is just regular (87 octane). Now I've read in magazines and online that cars designed for regular can't really take advantage of higher octanes, so you shouldn't even bother to put higher octane fuel in, it's just a

| OIL LEAK | 13 Aug 2006 01:02 GMT | 3 |
I think my oil pan is leaking at the drain plug. I've replaced the plug, but no luck, no matter how tight I get it, the oil leaks, at a good clip. Has anyone had this problem? Is the only choice replacing the pan? And is that a pretty easy job, is it just unbolting the pan
