I want to install an amateur radio transceiver in the spot below my
Subaru factory stereo.  There is a little plastic box (used for
collecting junk) occupying this space right now and it seems like it
should be easily removable.

I have an auto 96 Subaru Legacy which has a problem. When the car is
hot, i.e. having been driven for 30min or more, when I pull up to a
stop the accelerator sticks and I can feel the car trying to pull away.
Whilst this is happening, if I put the car in neutral it is reving at

I was given a '90 Legacy AWD wagon. How do I tell which model it is? It
only has 110K miles. What are some of the classic problems to look for?

The other day I came across a '06 Forester that has 5000 miles on it;
it's an estate sale vehicle and the executer wants Blue Book for it.
In the paper, I saw new '06s for sale by dealers who are dumping them
for the new model year.  For a new vehicle, they are asking less than

I have a '99 Subaru outback sport with ~125K miles.  For quite a while
now, the car has been consuming oil - about 1qt every 800-1200 miles.
There are no oil leaks - I had it in for new seals, etc. a while ago.
My mechanic says that 1qt every 1K miles is normal.  Does anyone else

On my 2002 Forester, the CEL has been staying on, took it to Autozone
they read out a P0136 error code, which is suppossedly a Rear Oxygen
Sensor Circuit Malfunction - how difficult are these to replace? I'd
like to save a few bux and do it myself if possible. I have also read
