| mileage on american vs canadian gasoline | 30 Sep 2006 09:36 GMT | 17 |
I've discussed this in the past and have never gotten a real good explanation for this, but I just came back from a 4000+kms trip through the USA and now have some numbers to prove my observations. In Canada, milage is reported as litres of gas per 100kms. Therefore

Hi, I've got a 95 Subaru Loyale wagon with a rubbing/whining sound from the back right panel by the tire. My mechanic has had it 3 times in the last week and a half. He says he can't diagnose it without hearing the sound himself, which is problematic because the sound comes and

I understand that 'piston slap' is a much discussed topic, but I'm afraid I'm confused about it, still, and I hope someone is willing to help me out. I bought a 2003 Legacy with 72000 miles last Febuary - it is my first car. In August (with about 76000 miles at the time) a

Im looking to replace my 110 landrover with something a bit more wife friendly, slightly more economical, and fun to drive. I think the forester fits my needs, and SWMBO seems to be ok to, so my question is what should I look out for? I think we'll be looking at 2000 /2001

| Knock sensor replacement 96 impreza | 26 Sep 2006 22:06 GMT | 3 |
I need to replace the knock sensor on my 96 impreza. Haynes says to take off the intake manifold and half of the engine with it. I think I can see the sensor bolted to the block under the throttle assembly, and that I could just whip out the old sensor without taking anything else
