I have tried all the usual places like Napa, AutoZone, PepBoys etc,

I have seen this website, but this is massively overpriced:
Picking up my 06 STI Today, never owned a manual - any tips?14 Sep 2006 00:39 GMT66
Thanks to your responses to my previous posts, I have decided to pick up the
STI.
Tomorrow I will be picking it up from the dealer.  I will be having a friend
drive it from the dealer to my home.  I do have some experience driving a

debating with myself if I should go with Mobil 1 5W-30 or Shell Rottela
5W-40. Both do not have a 'Energy Conserving II' label on it while
Outback manual requires such.
Manual says that you could use other oil of it complies with API SH.
Outside Air Temp Sensor failure?13 Sep 2006 00:00 GMT1
My '05 Outback is constantly displaying 73 degrees as the outside air
temperature, no matter how HOT or cool it actually is.
Is the IAT (intake air temperature) sensor the same one that is used to
display the outside air temperature?  If so, I'm guessing that it was
Replacing the A/F sensor12 Sep 2006 20:49 GMT1
I am new to this group so please forgive me if this question has been
asked and answered before.  I have a 2001 Subaru Forester with 201, 000
Km on it.  The infamous check engine light came on and I had it checked
by the dealer.  The following codes came up:
replacement tire installation12 Sep 2006 18:43 GMT7
I finally decided to replace the Yokohama Geolander tires that came with
my 2004 Forester.  I found a Kumho tire that is highly rated at
tirerack.com at a good price, which I cannot find at the few tire stores
in my area.  If I order them from tirerack, I will have to have them
smeary windshield wipers12 Sep 2006 02:55 GMT21
This is weird. My wife and I both drive fairly new Subarus. Mine is
about a year older, and since it was new I have never been happy with
the way the wipers leave a trailing hazy "glow" that disappates after a
few seconds, only to re-appear on the next swipe. My wife's car has no ...

Replacing 12vdc Power socket in console - Help!!!11 Sep 2006 03:58 GMT16
My 12vdc power socket in the console is dead. The Dealer verified that the
issue is with the socket itself and wants to charge $120 to replace it. I
figure it cant be that hard, though I don't know how to take apart the
console to get to the back of the socket.

Speaker replacement in Legacy GT11 Sep 2006 02:21 GMT2
Trying to purchace and install replacement (upgrade) speakers in the rear
deck of a '97 Subaru Legacy GT sedan.  All web sites list replacement size
as 6.5" but what I removed was more like 6.25" and the 6.5" replacements are
definately oversized.  Anyone know what fits and who ...
the case of the missing fuel filter?10 Sep 2006 23:32 GMT5
My neighbor has a 2004 Outback 2.5L and it appears to be missing the
fuel filter.  Instead it has two "disc-like thingers".  Now, the manual
shows that this is what a "California" edition has, but the rest of the
parts under the hood do not match this "california" edition...  So ...

All,
Blew the fuse that powers my Cig liter and the Mirrors.  Replaced the fuse
and now the power mirrors operate VERY slowly.  Did I burn up the motors?
Thought the fuses were supposed to protect them?  Anything else possibly?
