98 Subaru Forrester Stalls with in 10 seconds of start up17 Oct 2006 15:05 GMT9
We had the oil changed on our 98 Subaru Forrester recently.  We got the
car back and tried to start it up, it started fine but with in 10
seconds or so it would start running rough then stall.  If you hit the
gas the engine revved fine and didn't show any signs of roughness,, but

alright guys I''m super new to all this stuff. I'm a 16 year old just

I have a 2003 subaru baja that idles very lowly when stopped in drive.
It rumbles and vibrates the entire car and I've heard that theres some
screw that I can adjust to fix this. Is this true? If so, where is this
screw?

I have an 1987 Subaru GL 4WD, 1.8 S#jf2an53b8hf457939.  I took it into
the garage and they check her out on the diagnostic machine nothing
showed up. Mechanic also took her out for a test drive. He checked
compression cylinders were between 120psi to 135psi. He check valve

I have a 1995 Legacy that just started over heating.  I think it may be
the thermostat though.
When I first start driving the temp goes almost to H in about 7 minutes
but I get no hot air from the heater.

I have a 92' Loyale which I recently took into the dealer. (The check
engine light has been on for over a year but only recently have I
noticed any problem in the way the car is running).   I was told that I
need a new EGR solenoid ($230 installed) and a Canister Purge solenoid

My '99 OB has lost its beeping when I unlock the car remotely.  I need
that beep to find my car in the lot sometimes.
Is this something a beginner can fix himself?
