What are the differences in Subie AWD systems (if any)?06 Oct 2006 12:59 GMT3
I used to think that Subaru used only one basic AWD system that
delivered 90% front and 10% rear power under normal condidtions. Those
specs are out of the owner's manual for my wife's '97 OB Sport 2.2l.
There is no mention in the manual of my '00 OBW-LTD but I assume it's
oil on spark plug boots is gone!05 Oct 2006 23:24 GMT2
Howdy folks.
Back in May I decided to change my own spark plugs and found oil on the
spark plug boots.  After much discussion, I decided that my valve cover
gasket was probably the culprit, but since nobody seemed panicky about

winter gas - and why my mileage drops in winter?   I've heard the
winter blend is "oxygenated" - why the change and what exactly are
they doing to the gas?
Electrical Problem with my XT-6 -- Overcharging04 Oct 2006 10:31 GMT5
I have an '87 XT-6. This afternoon when I started the car, I thought I
heard a soft *pop* under the hood. When it started the voltmeter showed
16-17 volts. Only when I put a lot of load on the charging sysem by
turning on all the lights etc. would the voltage stay below 14 volts,

This morning my mom got up and went to take her `95 Legacy out to do errands

I own a 2004 WRX STi.
I put my winter wheels/tires on and noticed that one tire is a bit
damaged on the sidewall. The tires aren't much worn down yet, so I'm
wondering, if I need to replace it, how many to replace? Can I get away
It started after 2-3yr break!02 Oct 2006 01:12 GMT1

group and it burst into life on the first time I turned it over.
