How many O2 sensors in28 Nov 2006 00:56 GMT2
Howdy!
I have 2000 Forester L , automatic,  2.5L engine, +80,000,   which is
showing a CEL/ECU P1133 fault code. I believe this is bad O2 sensor, but I
do not know if I have more than one sensor, and it's (their)  location. I
How Many O2 Sensors in a 96 Outback27 Nov 2006 23:11 GMT2
How Many O2 Sensors in a 96 Outback?
I thought there were only 2, but the local autozone tried to sell me 4, and
that was sounding rather fishy.
Anyone know the correct part numbers? I was looking at the bosch ones only
2005 WRX cruise control27 Nov 2006 21:44 GMT3
Is it possible to tune the cruise control to make it more responsive?
Can an owner do it, or an independent garage? How about a dealer? And if
so, will a dealer do it?
My cruise control is lucky to be able to hold speed in a 5 mph range
better driveability after battery change27 Nov 2006 20:44 GMT4
I changed out my battery today on my 03 OBS (and I also put on my
winter wheels & tires ...) and I noticed a difference in how the car
drives.  It seems that the RPMs don't drop as fast as they used to
after I push in the clutch, even when the A/C is on.  Therefore, the
replacement station wagon recommendation27 Nov 2006 18:09 GMT4
So my parents have a 2000 Subaru Legacy Outback Station Wagon.
They liked it quite a bit, but had big problems starting around 2002.
Lots of oil leaks, blown head gaskets.  There was a recall involving
some coolant additive to keep the coolant from degrading engine seals I
Floor and Cargo MAts for Forester27 Nov 2006 06:16 GMT7
Just got a new for me (used) Forester. It's going to be mainly a
fishing/camping vehicle. It has light tan carpet and cargo bed that
isn't going to take the wet, muddy boots/waders etc that are going to be
on my body as well as stowed in the back.

impreza tyre rating.27 Nov 2006 01:36 GMT3
Hi all, what do most impreza turbo drivers run their tyres on? ie. v or w
rating? (205/50/16)
I understand the rating thing but what is the problem  with running v
rated? and what sort of speeds do they run to safely?
97 Outback Sport27 Nov 2006 00:47 GMT2
We just picked up the above car from my FIL.  It was an extra car since his
wife died.  :-(
It has 44K miles.  It's been garage kept, very lightly driven and has been
to the Subaru dealer
rear speakers for 97 impreza outback26 Nov 2006 22:47 GMT3
I'm looking to replace the speakers in my car, and I had a few
questions about my rear speakers. Crutchfield tells me that I have 4"
speakers in the back, which to me seems a little small. I was wondering
if there was anyway to increase the size of them to possible 5 1/4"
no heat!!!26 Nov 2006 22:30 GMT3
I have a 1986 GL10. It sat for about 3 years with a broken timing belt,
in extreme washington weather. I recently got the title signed over to
me and had it fixed. It has been running great with one exception. It
overheated once. I filled it up with coolant, and it runs great again.
1992 Subaru Legacy Wagon 4WD Transmission Problems No Reverse26 Nov 2006 03:37 GMT2
I have a 1992 subaru legacy and the transmission will not move at all
in reverse and when in drive it does not shift properly. Stays stuck in
the gears before shifting and downshifting. Anyone know what it could
be?
front brake discs26 Nov 2006 03:12 GMT5
I run a Forester thats only done 20,000 miles in three years.
I was  told by the service garage at 14000 that the front disc,s might need
skimming at next service(now).
This seems to me a bit much after just three years, as I am not a heavy
