I have 2000 Forester with CEL lit. My problem is, the connector I think must be the OBDII connector, is located under dash to the right of steering column, does not appear to accept the standard OBDII male connector. The connectors I see on the readers have a horizontal blade ...

I am replacing the clutch in my 85 Subaru GL 1.8L 4WD and need help. The u-shaped spring holding the throwout bearing to the clutch fork popped out and I am not 100% sure how the spring goes back on. Anyone with a shop manual showing it would be a super great help.

My forester 2001 now has an annoying coolant leak. I know the recall on head gasket problem so I just did a coolant flush about one and half months ago and asked the dealer to add the subaru conditioner. However, now it's still same as before. I even wonders whether they

| 1990 Legacy Heater/AC Blower Not Working | 04 Nov 2006 17:06 GMT | 5 |
The AC/heater blower on a friend's 1990 Legacy is not working. Figure it is either the blower motor or speed resistor. Sometimes it will start working after a time. I am hoping that is an indication of worn brushes and not an intermittent short/open somewhere.

| Is 2001 a lemon year for the Legacy Outback? | 04 Nov 2006 06:17 GMT | 9 |
A potential used Subie buyer here. I'm a bit concerned that the mechanical ratings I've seen for the 2001 Legacy Outback are so wretched (J.D. Power). Does anyone here know of any problems with this make/model?

| Tires for an Outback... (Potenza G009, Eagle GT/HR, Michelin MXV4, Tripletreads?) | 04 Nov 2006 04:49 GMT | 8 |
I've got a 2000 Outback and need new tires. The Potenza G009 tires looks like a good choice; however, I read one account on Tirerack that the tires didn't fit correctly and scraped the wheel well when turned all of the way. Is this truly a problem?
