Do you see the problem with the folowing downshift procedure
1. I'm in 5th
2. While braking keep the gas pressed and disengage the clutch
3. As the revs go up shift into the 3rd

I have a reasonably potent stereo in my WRX, and am noticing some
resonance in the doors and the dash at certain bass frequencies from
the speakers. The speakers are after-market. I'm pretty sure they're

My 98 Legacy Outback no longer changes the direction of the cabin airflow
even though the buttons push and the lights light.  Has anyone had this
problem and can you give me any direction?  Thanks.  Please reply to

A couple years ago, the passenger side back window would no longer go
up from it's control switch, but would work from the driver's
controls. Just recently other windows began doing the same thing -

 The piece that the oil filter access slider cracked.  I need to
replace that underbody piece and oil filter cover.
I cant seem to find this piece on 1st subaru.com. Does any one know
the name or number so I can see what 1st subaru charges .  Thank you

The catalytic converter on my 2000 legacy outback wagon has gone bad
after just 90000 miles. It will be expensive to replace. Is there a
low cost source for catalytic converters?

this is on an '02 legacy wagon, with 5-spd mt.
under heavy throttle  i noticed that the tachometer suddenly dropped
from about 4200 back to 3500.  i hadn't shifted, and i didn't feel any
lurching from the engine.  everything else seemed normal.

My radio display on a 2003 Forester has gone dark. I Have the in-dash 6
cd changer radio.  How do I replace bulbs or what ever provides the

I've been trying to set the headlights on my 94 liberty (aka legacy,
second generation 94-98), but when I turn some of the adjusting screws
it doesn't move the lights.
One of the adjustments worked ok (right vertical adjustment), but on

Our '94 Legacy has automatic shoulder belts.  When they operate
properly, they slide forward when the ignition key is off and the door
is open and slide back when the door is closed and the ignition key is
on.  Beginning a month or so ago, the driver's side belt began to

2005 Outback with a little over 30,000 miles.  Today I notice that my
speedomter was flashing back and forth from the miles on this tank of gas
and
ILL.6!!  Anyone have a clue???
