Pardon a dumb question but I tried to top off the power steering fluid in my 2003 Forester tonight and for the life of me I could not get the yellow cap off the reservoir!. It just seems to turn forever in both clockwise or counter-clockwise directions and after scraping the skin

there is a "knurled" end, according to the manual I have this is only to indicate the length (and engine type, 1600/1800) of the pushrod.. but I put the pushrods next to eachother, with knurled ends

The clock in my Forester 2001 went dead two days ago. It became dark and doesn't show anything. This is weird as I never heard any car having a failed clock ~~~~~ My guess is that maybe there is a fuse for this clock and it melted?
