catalytic converter experience? mileage/age?14 Mar 2007 02:12 GMT6
Howdy all,
My 01 Outback wagon's catalytic converter evidently threw a check

Fuel injector cleaning13 Mar 2007 16:10 GMT5
I have a 2006 Forester with 10,000 miles. The dealer said they

and with the coupon they sent me, it's only $99! I told them I can't
believe a car with only 10K miles would need the fuel injector
Freekin' dealer <sigh>13 Mar 2007 04:01 GMT13

plus its close to work, about 40 miles from my house.  Since the service
included an oil change, and I just did mine with ...

I towed a camper with my 1991 (automatic, cylinder) Camry for many years,
'98 Subaru Forester wiper blades sizes?10 Mar 2007 19:46 GMT3
I went to the store to buy new blades and the little book indicates that
the driver side is 21" and the passenger side is 19".  Digging around a
little I see that this seems to be common for newer cars, but the thing
that bothers me is I can not find anything in the owner's manual ...

I would really appreciate if you redirect this e-mail to the customer

Dear Subaru,
Reliability -- miles vs. years10 Mar 2007 05:28 GMT17
If I want reliability in an outback or legacy, all else being equal, am
I better off with an early 2000's model at 125K to 150K miles, or a
mid-late '90's at 90K to 100K miles?

Boots on drive shafts09 Mar 2007 21:23 GMT12
Why is it that vehicles like Subaru need boots for their drive shafts.
My 4WD '91 Jeep doesn't and has no problems. My turn radius on my Jeep
is even better than that of my wife's Outback. What's the explanation?
