Needs helps deciding what accessory to put on my legacy wagon26 Apr 2007 04:19 GMT2
My goal is to be able to carry things I must have as I moved from one
place to another for contract work (minimum 6 mos which might get
extended or not) by myself in a trailer and a rooftop rack. I need
help in  accesorising my 2005 legacy wagon to carry the followings:
oh boy. spark plug fell out of my wife's car.26 Apr 2007 03:40 GMT6
Well, the #1 cylinder head thread stripped . I tried the Auto Zone insert
but it wouldn't bite - I guess the hole is still too small. Local wisdom
suggests removing the head to rethread to avoid chips and potential damage
to zero clearance piston. Any comments ?  Oh, yeah, its a ...
Independent Repair Shop - Bay Area25 Apr 2007 23:52 GMT1
Hi, I'm looking for a good Subaru repair shop. Alameda,
Oakland East Bay area would be ideal, but San Fran
would be OK also.

a/c noises in 94 legacy GT25 Apr 2007 18:30 GMT3

the central dashboard when accelerating (even lightly). the car has
apparently been sitting unused for at least a month or two, and i know
that a/c seals can perish an leak A/C gas out. the A/C seems to work
Where is seatbelt bolt?25 Apr 2007 04:34 GMT1
How do I get to the seat belt bolts for the rear passenger (side, not
center) belt in a 2001 Outback? It looks like I have to remove several
parts before I can remove the part that the three point belt goes into
behind the seat.  Any idea what torque is required to put it back on?
Frequent A/C hiss above 2500 RPMS24 Apr 2007 18:19 GMT5
Hey all,
So, the dealership couldn't figure it out, other message boards
couldn't.  Can you???
I have a 2007 2.5i Outback 5sp.  Whenever I have the A/C on the
drop in gas mileage and gauge problems24 Apr 2007 12:27 GMT11
1997 subaru outback with 142000 miles...head gasket blew about 200
miles ago, fixed by the dealer. about 4 days ago i filled up and my
gas gauge started dropping pretty quickly. i've ruled out a leak (had

O2 Voltage24 Apr 2007 03:56 GMT7
I have a 01 Forester and the CEL has been coming on (P0420 - "Catalyst
system inefficient for Bank 1").  I posted earlier to this group and it
was suggested that it was the front o2 sensor. I'm finally getting
around to addressing it.  I had a friend use his OBD computer and read ...
I'v read about it23 Apr 2007 17:20 GMT4
And it happened to me today. The windshield on my 03 WRX cracked while it
was siting in the driveway. Seems to have started on the top of the drivers
side from under the metal strip on top down about 6" then across about 6".
No signs of impact... I still have 10k left on my warrenty ...

My friend has a 97 Subaru Outback Legacy that when you turn on the key
after the beeps the radiator fans come on first low then high and stop

then this cycle repeats itself.  This is without starting the key is
Outback won't start. Won't do *anything*23 Apr 2007 15:14 GMT9
My wife returned from a week in Europe today - she flew to England then
on to Spain and back to Newark, NJ from Spain.
When she tried to start her '07 Outback wagon nothing happened. The dash
didn't light up at all. Folks at the parking garage hooked up a jump box
rear wiper motor?23 Apr 2007 14:17 GMT6
Starting yesterday, I noticed that my OBW's rear wiper was going really
slow. Starting today, it just got stuck in the middle of the rear
windshield. I had to get home and put the wiper back down by hand. Could
this be a lubrication issue on the wiper motor?
wiper motor 198723 Apr 2007 13:27 GMT2

Lately, I've noticed water dripping when the door is opened.  It's coming
