BAJA issues????17 Apr 2007 20:54 GMT5
Thinking of picking up a used '05 Baja, 5 speed turbo, 21K miles.
Anything in particular I should be looking out for?
Replace rear rotors17 Apr 2007 20:14 GMT12
Last time I had my rear wheel off, I forgot to check this...how big a
deal is it to replace the rear brake rotors on my '99 Outback? Can I
be lucky enough that it's just a caliper removal, bang on the rotor
and it comes off?
'98 Legacy Wagon GT - Trying to check Fuse #2217 Apr 2007 20:12 GMT1
My power antenna is not working and I wanted to check a few fuses as
the first step but actually don't know how to find the "fuse panel
behind the instrument panel lower cover", as the owner's manual
describes its location. I know where the fuse panels under the hood
98 Impreza trailer wiring converter17 Apr 2007 19:18 GMT2
Does anyone know of a plug-and-play trailer wiring adapter for the
1998 Impreza (not Outback)?  I've googled a fair amount and have
come up empty.  I'd rather avoid having to splice into the wiring
in favor of something that has the correct connectors to plug into
Starting problem Subaru Legacy Wagon17 Apr 2007 18:37 GMT2
Help!!! I was driving on the highway today back home, the weather was
rough it was raining and very windy. The vehicle was acting normal, i
pulled over to get some gas at a full service gas station. I had the
window open on the side that the gas is pumped into the car to pay the
Subie Hurt!17 Apr 2007 03:14 GMT1
Well, my son managed to keep his car pristine for a little under 3
months. Saturday night, he "swerved to avoid a deer, was probably
going a little too fast," and ran up over a curb and into the
overhanging branch of a tree. (Quotes serve to dilineate his story
Anyone have buzzing noise when wet conditons?16 Apr 2007 20:04 GMT3
I have a 2003 Forester that emits a faint buzzing noise when it is
raining or wet snow.
Sounds like the remote lock buzzer but not as loud, and sounds like it
is coming from under the radiator area, about where that remote entry
A/T tranny hesitation16 Apr 2007 15:17 GMT4
First I thought it was a cold weather thing. But now it's warm and
it's still doing it.
"It" is a long hesitation going from Park or Reverse into Drive. If I
hit the gas it will shift, but with a noticeable jerk (obviously,

Really bad dealer service in NJ15 Apr 2007 02:38 GMT1
Stay away from World Subaru in NJ. World's worst service and can't even
order a correct part without screwing it up. My H-6 sheared the fixed
belt idler and even with the VIN number they could not get it right. If
you need parts use Bill in Flemington Subaru. Also tried to rip me ...
what does it take to have ODB monitors prepared for emission test14 Apr 2007 19:46 GMT9
I was rejected on the emission test because the monitors were not ready.
How long/what does it take to have ODB diagnose them and populate some data.
Thx in advance, A.
Non-functioning hood scoop on non-turbo Outback, RS and Legacy14 Apr 2007 18:35 GMT1
I dug this out of some old emails circa 1998. Still pretty funny...
Top ten answers to give the next time someone asks "What's the hood
scoop for?"
#10 - It's designed to cool the panel that blocks the other side of it.
Anyone taken an old soob to 30 years as a daily driver?14 Apr 2007 16:12 GMT5
I thought back 30 years ago from now, and subarus weren't exactly up to
par for the daily aggressions in my area...
Then there is the 80's versions, some could be 25 and driven contently. I
would love nothing more than to take my 1987 to 30.
'94 Legacy Turbo14 Apr 2007 13:29 GMT7
I have an "interesting" (read disturbing) problem with my '94 Legacy
Turbo. First, some info.
1994 Legacy Turbo - 4 speed EAT all wheel drive
160,000 km (100,000 miles)
Question about 1999 Legacy L wagon.14 Apr 2007 02:50 GMT4
Can this car's sunroofs air-deflector be temporarily removed?  If I get
one of these cars, I plan to not ever slide the sunroof back/forth,
negating the purpose of this deflector.
