Rear shaft boots06 Apr 2007 20:11 GMT7
I've had a squeak in my left rear wheel for about a week. Seems like
brakes, so yesterday I pulled out the pads and checked them out...the
tab that makes noise is still just over 1/8 inch from the rotor. Lotsa
life left there, apparently.
98 Forrester S  timing belt replacement05 Apr 2007 22:52 GMT2
My daughter is determined to drive her Forrester cross country this
summer.  She got the car 3rd hand and maint. records are  unknown.
I'm sure I will need to replace the timing belt, as well as the other
drive belts for ac, alt, ps etc.  I need a diagram for the timing

Trying to remove housing over defroster/fan output = 02 WRX05 Apr 2007 17:12 GMT2
I have an 02 WRX wagon.
I'm currenly becoming a little obsessive about the little rattles and
noises I'm hearing in my car as I go over bumpy roads or crank my
stereo.
97 subaru legacy outback : Engine Rebuild/Tranny rebuild/replace05 Apr 2007 07:33 GMT3
My questions:
Going to need to rebuild my Subaru engine soon.10 Y 155k w/ 1 head

considering buying used engine and rebuilding, then swapping.
Do all 4 tires need to be replaced when just 1 goes bad?05 Apr 2007 02:06 GMT28
Because of AWD, I figured when one of the tires (front left) was damaged
beyond repair that I would have to replace both.  That is, due to
difference in diameter for an old and new tire, I would have to replace
both tires on each end of the axle.  That was also the recommendation ...
95 Legacy GT - ABS wiring04 Apr 2007 20:01 GMT3
I've posted my problem previously of the ABS light illuminated. I have
checked the two relays at the pump to be functioning OK. I'd be grateful if
anybody could send me a copy of the wiring diagram for the ABS system to
help me do further testing.
Subaru WRX - high, increasing revs when idle in traffic04 Apr 2007 14:39 GMT10
My car is a 2005 Subaru WRX Sedan. It has 37000 miles and has had all
the regular servicing.
Last night I did some highway driving (25mins) and then was in city
center stop/go traffic. After about 10 mins in the congestion the revs
Maintenance & Warranty Manual04 Apr 2007 05:24 GMT2
I've got a '03 OBW that I just bought used this winter. The Owner's
Manual has no service schedule in it and just refers to a "Maintenance
& Warranty Manual" that I don't have.  Can I download/print this M&W
Manual from somewhere? It's got 61K on it now and I need to know
Radiator04 Apr 2007 01:33 GMT1
Was wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost to change the
radiator in a 1995 Subaru Legacy Sedan.  Cost of new radiator and
labor??
Thanks.
Upcoming timing belt change: what else?04 Apr 2007 00:40 GMT6
I've got a 2001 Forester (U.S.), coming up on 105K miles.  That's when they
recommend the timing belt change.  So I'm thinking up what else I should
have done at the same time.  I have every intention of keeping the car for
at least another 105K.
97 Outback Subaru with over heating problems.03 Apr 2007 16:02 GMT1
I have a 1997 Outback with overheating problems.
My mechanic found residue of gas inside the coolant overflow
reservior.
He said this is due to a head gasket problem.
