I have a XT-GL 1988 in which my friend who is a mechanic changed the
time belt but now the car won’t start. We want to know how to line the
time. I guess. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!

I've just begun my research on purchasing a 2007
Forester. Got a quote of $26,300 for Forester LL Bean
edition. This is includes the $1000 rebate. Dealer
says this is $200 over her costs...

my mechanic used a gallon of Zerex G-05 and toped it off with distiled
water (I guess it is about 85/15 mix now) when changing the coolant.
Is using almost not diluted coolant harmful in anyway or should I rush
to change it again with proper 50/50 proportions.

I'm fairly new to these cars, and haven't bought one yet, but looking
under the hood looks like a nightmare to work on them. I looked at the
motors pretty good at the dealers, trying to find things, and thought
my 86' V-6 FWD Chevy was a pain to work on.

Had a tune up last week for my 1998 Outback Impreza. Now, AT Oil Temp
light flashes 16 times after the initial light test upon start-up. Any
ideas?

I have a 2001 Forester and noticed that the front, passenger side, inboard
CV joint boot is leaking. Grease from inside the boot has been flung onto
the nearby exhaust components. The burning grease odor prompted me to
investigate.
