Cel code P0447 - ideas on solutions?29 May 2007 15:00 GMT9
My 2002 Subaru Legacy wagon is throwing out a "Check Engine light" and the
code of P0447. We have tried a new gas cap and that hasn't solved the
problem. Any suggestions on what else might make this happen?
Thanks!
Subaru L series Driving LIghts28 May 2007 15:41 GMT3
>I am trying to connect driving lights on my 1994 L-series Wagon (4WD Sportswagon). Everything is fine, except I can't find where to connect to the high-beam wire (so that the driving lights only come on when the high-beam is on). I don't have a wiring diagram, so I would love it ...
Non painted heavily rusting tailgate surfaces  (97 Legacy Wagon)27 May 2007 05:38 GMT1
There's a metal plate through which the door lock/ latch is attached
to the lift gate, also the two license plate lights are attached to
it.  This bare metal, not visible from normal standing position, was
apparently never painted and of course it heavily rusted.  (Part of
Paint Damage '06 WRX27 May 2007 05:30 GMT2
Extensive sandblast pitting on the front fascia from a particularly windy
trip back from skiing last March. Driving 65-75 with wind gusts to 50 is not
the best situation but I'd hardly consider it extreme. I can't help thinking
the finish still should have have held up better. ...
Manual Transmission problems26 May 2007 15:49 GMT8
I just recently bought a 2004 Subaru Outback and have had some
problems shifting the car into first and reverse.  This only occurs
from a stand-still, and it happens about 10% of the time.
I took the car in and they told me that I wasn't pressing down hard
1999 Forester: What to Expect?26 May 2007 12:26 GMT9
My husband and I just bought a new (to us) 1999 Subaru Forester.
This is my fourth Subaru; I've been driving Subarus since shortly
after college.  (For well over 20 years.)
Prior to buying it, I had a Suby Specialties in Monrovia, CA,

There was the growth of offers for the used cars of all brands, except
Shift Modulator Valve 87 GL25 May 2007 12:11 GMT3
I did my first 1,000 mi. fluid level check and the trans fluid level
didn't touch the dip stick. The engine oil was about 1/4 qt. low. I
added the trans fluid and went for a spin.
The 1.8 ci stopped laying rubber but when I checked the fluids again
100% MSRP Subaru Promotion25 May 2007 11:05 GMT8
I have to admit it, I got taken in by the latest ad I received from
Subaru.  They claimed in big bold letters they would give me 100% of
the MSRP on the basic model of my car as trade-in.  The only deduction
would be for mileage at a rate of from $.11 - $.55 per mile.  I took
Subaru Legacy Subwoofer25 May 2007 04:13 GMT3
I have a Subaru Subwoofer for sale.  Part # is H6300AS030.  It is from
a 96 Legacy but should most likely fit any Outback/Legacy from 95 to
99.  If I'm wrong let me know.  $40 O.B.O.  I'm in Colorado Springs,
can ship if need be.  Let me know if you are interested.
2004 Forester air filter24 May 2007 23:09 GMT5
How does one replace an air fliter on a 2004 Forester 2.5X, and does
anyone know what the replacement is?  Thanks.
clunk clunk when turning sharply24 May 2007 03:30 GMT6
I have a symptom that I can't place and I thought I would throw it out
here.
My car (2003 Outback Sport, 5spd, 140,000kms) clunks rather harshly
when I turn sharply.
Cars, SUV's, Trucks auctioned up to 90% off the retail value24 May 2007 01:40 GMT1
The government confiscates and seizes vehicles and property everyday.
These items become available for purchase at government auctions.
Since the government pays nothing for it, they can sell them for any
price.
Any way to get aux-in on 95-99 Legacy stock headunit?24 May 2007 01:00 GMT7
If I owned a Honda, I'd be able to buy a cable that simply plugs into
the CD-changer port, which then gives the stock head unit an
auxiliary-input jack/capability.
Is there any way to do the same thing with the head unit that comes
