I guess it is the cat converter smelling, but I am getting about 28mpg
on road. Does that mean or sugest my fuel mix is okay
and there is a problem with converter? and is okay to just let it go?

I have a 94 Subaru Legacy. 2.2 liter  The timing belt broke. I
replaced it.  I lined up marks and counted teeth.  I put it back
together.  It wont start.  I checked compression.  150 pounds on all
