| 30,000 mile service question (USA). | 09 May 2007 14:17 GMT | 8 |
The dealer where I was getting my 2005 Forester XT (2.5 Turbo) serviced closed and the other dealer in town took over as the exclusive Subaru dealership in town. (Las Vegas, NV; Findlay Subaru closed, Subaru of Las Vegas takes over. Seems there wasn't enough

We are in the market to buy a used outback and went to look and drive one.. We really like the car but I noticed a burnt clutch/oil smell from under the hood after driving it. The thing is, its at automatic, and it was not directly coming from the brakes. It smells just like

It's time to change the plugs on my 03 legacy GT. Anybody have any experience with the iridium plugs? Are they worth the money or is this a gimmick? Thanks in advance!

| Coolant conditioner | 07 May 2007 21:53 GMT | 12 |
I want to hear from people on this message board about whether or not they think the coolant conditioner works. I have read alot lately about head gasket problems and I ABSOLUTELY cannot afford to have that repaired if it goes bad. Even if it does, I am seriously thinking

| ok...subaru in diguise...how bad is it? | 05 May 2007 06:16 GMT | 2 |
ok...did something really dumb. I towed my 2002 Tracker 4X4 AT with the tranfer case in 4wH. Now it will not move in drive but will work in low and reverse. What have I done? Tranfer case or transmission or both? The transmision was in Nuetral.

| "Official" 2008 WRX pics from Subaru | 04 May 2007 15:49 GMT | 20 |
http://www.subaru.com/sub/misc/2008/autoshow/ny0311/wrx/index.html The more I see, the more I like. I still don't understand why so many other Americans don't like hatchbacks. The 5 door is probably the best looking Subaru ever (IMHO), not that that's saying much.

| More Info on Impreza Rust | 03 May 2007 15:15 GMT | 3 |
The dealer tells me that the spots on the interior cloth type roof are indeed rust and that because they do not have a body shop I have to look elsewhere to find the exterior leak - the pits! Greta

I've just been quoted $867 to replace the compressor with a Reman unit and switch to R134 on my 90 Legacy wagon. Is that a reasonable price?

| Sirius with 05 Forester XT? | 01 May 2007 05:36 GMT | 5 |
I know using an FM transmitter is a bad idea, both because the antenna's in the rear and because the FCC has made them reduce the transmitting power. Since the stock head unit doesn't have an input jack, what's the best way to connect? One thought was a car tuner, but I think ...

| Screwed by Consumer Reports | 01 May 2007 03:40 GMT | 10 |
Okay this is off topic. In early March, during a transfer in the Philadelphia airport, I thought to buy a copy of the CR auto issue to read. I found it in the racks at Borders or some similar store. I'm shopping for a newer car, and was
