NUDE MODELS26 Jun 2007 19:38 GMT1
Models for life drawing classes are often entirely nude, apart from
inconspicuous personal items such as small jewelry. In a job
advertisement seeking nude models, this may sometimes be referred to
as being "undraped". In Western countries, there is generally no
How to open hatch?26 Jun 2007 19:21 GMT8
The hatch latch on my 1999 OB has rusted again to the point that I
can't open it.  In the past I have crawled into the luggage area,
removed the upholstered panel, and lubricated the mechanism inside to
fix this.
replacing/fixing ignition switch on 95 subaru legacy26 Jun 2007 13:31 GMT1
The ignition switch on my 1995 Subaru Legacy looks like it is
(finally) failing, after 180,000 miles on the vehicle. The lock sticks
and it takes quite a bit of working the key around to finally get it
to turn to start the car.
Grinding Noise After Brake Job26 Jun 2007 01:15 GMT4
Last week I had the front pads replaced and rotors turned at a Subaru
dealer.  Now I hear a grinding noise as I slow down.  Is this normal?
How should I break in new pads?  I have part numbers if that would
make a difference.
brakes forester26 Jun 2007 00:30 GMT2
How tight should the caliper be to put back on after mounting new pads? Mine
is a tight fit. I don't have a manual and can't find anything on the web.
Should I remove any shims?
Justy starting problem26 Jun 2007 00:25 GMT3
My '89 Justy (carbed, manual) has a bad habit of not starting, at times.  It
may go months without any problems, and then it won't fire.  It always has
fuel,  the problem is the ingition. After waiting 10 mintues, it usually
starts fine, but not after 8 mins.  My shop had it for 5 ...
'03 Outback timing belt26 Jun 2007 00:25 GMT3
A friend changed my daughter's '03 Outback timing belt --  just the
belt. Car was running fine at nearly 130k miles. Now she says it makes
strange noises, doesn't want to turnover when she attempts to start
it, and other seemingly unrelated issues.
LOYALE SAFETY25 Jun 2007 23:31 GMT3
I am looking into buying a 1993 loyale, and I was wondering how they
hold up in a crash. Thanks for your help.

Air filter in glove box question?25 Jun 2007 19:21 GMT2
I have a 2003 Forester XS. I don't know if I have one of these in my car.
The manual states where and how to remove "but if equiped". I don't want to
remove my glove box if I don't have to. Is there a way to tell if I have one
with out tearing out the glove box.
2005 Forester XT (USA) .Coolant conditioner needed ???23 Jun 2007 12:58 GMT4
Re: 2005 Forester XT (USA).
I have read many posts about leaking head gaskets, and the need
to use the coolant conditioner when changing the coolant.
I just had 30,000 mile service and the Subaru service manager advises
2000 OBW Oxygen Sensor Recall23 Jun 2007 04:30 GMT1
Does anyone have any info on an oxygen sensor recall for 2000 OBW's. I
have 122k on my vehicle.  The CEL diagnostics show that the oxygen
sensor is failing, causing the computer to max out the lean fuel
mixture.  The engine idles rough.  I'd like to be able to bring a copy
Hot for the puppy...23 Jun 2007 02:28 GMT24
I've been wondering, is there any harm in leaving
the car running with the A/C on while I'm gone
from the car and the dog is inside?  Half an hour/
45 mins.  I wouldn't think so, but would really like
2000 Outback Rough Idle21 Jun 2007 16:54 GMT2
2000 Outback - MT - 95,000 miles
Something strange started occurring yesterday with the engine idle. It
has always held a steady RPM at idle, but yesterday it was surging up
and down 250 RPM. No unusual engine loads such as A/C on.
Front wheels bind when turned to extreme21 Jun 2007 15:51 GMT7
My 2001 manual-transmission Forester
feels like the front wheels are
binding when I turn the steering wheel
to either extreme. At first I thought
