2001 Forester S06 Jun 2007 19:37 GMT4
The car has ~ 70K miles. What problems are likely to occur in next 2-3 years
(between now and when it hits 100K miles)?
The reason I'm asking: I have extended warranty that will expire this
October...

Re:  OT  right turn on red - is it okay06 Jun 2007 13:21 GMT1
You should see the looks I get when I turn left on red in town from a one way street
onto another one way street. Seems a lot of people forget that ROR also provides
for LOR if both streets are one-way. Of course, I guess they want me to go the same
direction as the one way ...
2005 WRX hood scoop06 Jun 2007 10:17 GMT8
I've had this car for three spring seasons. For some reason, this spring
has been the season that the local house wrens decided that building
nests on my intercooler was a good thing. They hop right in the hood
scoop. I have to admit, it's a perfect size for them.

2000 outback vibration after repair to front axles05 Jun 2007 05:35 GMT3
We have an automatic transmission 2000 outback with 71000 miles.
Recently, my wife and I noticed a burned rubber smell when parked in
the garage after driving so, we took it to Firestone to see what was
going on.  In addition to repairing front brakes and flushing the
07 or 06 outback05 Jun 2007 01:42 GMT9
I'm finally looking to replace my 97 outback sport with either a 07 or
an 06 full sized outback 2.5i.  I've heard subaru has gone down hill a
little since 05. Has the drop been consistent so I'd be better off
with an 06?
Buying Used 2002 Impreza OBS04 Jun 2007 07:50 GMT3
I'm considering buying an '02 Impreza OBS, used from a dealership in
Idaho.  It's got 86k miles, and the dealership is asking 9,995 for
it.  Also, it has a 5-speed transmission.  Done a test drive, and
everything seems okay, except there's a bit of engine noise.

Sirius in the New Subarus04 Jun 2007 01:43 GMT7
Has anybody picked up one of the new Subaru's with the Sirius kit?  I
am interested in knowing what the kit includes and how it hooks in.  I
already have a Sirius unit mounted in my 02 wrx and I am working out
the details for a new 07.  An information/pictures would be
Brake Pad replacement04 Jun 2007 00:25 GMT2
I'm tired of getting ripped off by service dealers. I need my front
brake pads replaced (2002 Subaru Impreza). I know that the cost of the
pads is about $70.00. What is a fair price to have the job done?
Removing deep scratch03 Jun 2007 14:29 GMT4
I walked by our 07 subbie in the driveway with a pruning saw closed and in
my pocket. The back end made a 2 inch long scratch on the door. Compound
hasn't gotten it out.
Any suggestion?

I would like to install a hitch on my 2007 Impreza Sport Wagon (2.5i).
The wiring instructions say to remove 2 floor panels in the rear cargo
area and the plastic panel in the area of the rear latch. The diagram
shows the 6-pin trailer harness connector in the vicinity of the
