trying to sort out a little problem on an '87 GL Wagon I'm using for the summer (it was my dad's backup car). It's got 215k miles on it (!) but aside from occasional lifter noise, it runs alright. I did a complete tune up and oil change, and that helped, but it's still a

| Mobil 1 0W-40 in a 2004 WRX | 18 Jul 2007 01:43 GMT | 2 |
Thought of doing it. I heard something about the possibility that Mobil has gone to different base lubes in their North American offerings, save their 0W-40. I also tend to go a bit longer than severe intervals along with most short trip driving in cold temps.

| Performance versus mileage computer chip | 18 Jul 2007 00:40 GMT | 2 |
I've seen chips that can be put in the computer that up the horsepower considerably for those who want it. I'm sure fuel economy goes by the wayside as power is increased. Is there a chip for increasing the mileage at the expense of losing
