of smoke puffing out from my hood scoop.
PICS: Subaru-sanction 2007 Subaru Tribeca STRETCH Limo ??07 Jul 2007 11:11 GMT1
Ok, when you see this stretch Subaru Tribeca limousine are yo
scratching your head?  It was built by Ernie Bosch, a powerful Bosto
area dealer that apparently has a penchant for long limousines. Befor
this he built a stretch Subaru Forester, which happened to be th
How hard to replace timing belts, '89 180006 Jul 2007 22:19 GMT5
How difficult is it to replace the timing belts on an '89 GL coupe?
It looks like I'd have to take the radiator out!
2000 outback front hub06 Jul 2007 15:44 GMT3
I just replaced my front left half shaft, and noticed when I removed
the half shaft, that the hub was loose. I don't have a manual, but I
was wondering if the front hub is supposed to be loose. I can push it
back in, like the axle nut was pulling it back, and it seems to seat
Car bids start as low as 90% off the book value05 Jul 2007 14:57 GMT1
Every day thousands of Americans default on their car loans or lease
payments... as a result, their new or almost new cars get repossessed
by the financial institutions and auctioned off in a hurry, because
the cost of storing the cars outweighs the banks' ability to try to
92 Subaru Legacy.  Sporadic clicking sound coming from behind dash followed by engine RPM fluctuation and engine turnoff.04 Jul 2007 17:19 GMT2
This started happening to my Subaru last week after an oil change and
300 mile road trip.
When the engine is first started after sitting for a while I hear a
clicking sound (like a switch flipping back and forth ) coming from
Which car is better: Subaru Outback or Volvo XC70?04 Jul 2007 05:08 GMT16
Edmunds.com says Outback is a more reasonable choice than XC70:
"Though the 2007 Volvo XC70 wagon remains a viable alternative for those who
need an all-weather vehicle but don't want an SUV, Subaru's more powerful
and agile Outback undercuts it on price while offering greater ...

Upgrade speakers in 98 forester?03 Jul 2007 22:30 GMT1
I have a 98 forester that came with the bare minimum in audio system.
I finally (after 10 years of owning it) put in a cd player/iPod hookup
to replace the cassette player.
I am thinking now about upgrading the speaker themselves.
Recommendations for 06 Forester M/T fluid for hot weather/hard driving.03 Jul 2007 22:27 GMT1
I live in South Central Tennessee and down a mud/rock road. Its both
hot as hell and the road is very hilly/rough, plus I do a lot of stop
and go in town driving to make matters worse. I have an 06 Forester M/
T non-Turbo and was wondering if I'm getting enough protection out of
Interesting outcome fixing the power windows, '89 GL 3-door.03 Jul 2007 21:26 GMT4
I was trying to get the power windows working on my '89 GL 3-door coupe. I
found a bad ground on the passenger's side, got the pass side switch
working by 'adding' a ground, and then was having trouble with the pass
window from the driver's side.
Belt fell off!! 1996 Impreza Outback Sport03 Jul 2007 15:46 GMT2
It looks like the accessory belt for my 1996 OBS just fell off.  I
know this belt goes around the power steering pump pulley, but I am
not sure where else it is routed.  Are there any diagrams on the web?
Does anyone know what other pulleys this belt goes to?  Right now the

Oil in Plug Holes03 Jul 2007 11:28 GMT5
I recently changed the spark plugs in my 04 Impreza 2.5 TS Wagon.  On two
of the plugs (not on the same side, actually diagonally opposite) there was
a fair amount of oil in the hole where the plug connector goes into the
engine. The plugs that I removed were fine, no sign of ...
Long trip and oil weight02 Jul 2007 20:04 GMT4
We're about to embark on a 1,000 mile road trip (after previously
posted CV Joint problem is repaired) that we hope to accomplish in one
long day of driving. I'm gonna have the shop change the oil as well
and wondered if I should go with something heavier (maybe 15-30 or
