Well poo. At 108k looks like I'm in the market for new valve cover gaskets. The car had been doing some goofy hesitation surging during onramp acceleration. Fairly consistently betwwen 3000 and 4000 RPM, I'd get

Vandals got into my 93 Legacy (just shy of 1/3 of a million kms), aside from trying to set the ceiling on fire with a lighter (failed), they took my rook rack key out of the ashtray and tried to use it to start the car??? Anyway it broke inside the mechanism and jammed

....after i had my headlight replaced last week, my overhead light in the car no longer turns on when a door is opened. The switch is in the correct position. Is this likely to be a fuse box or a seperate more involved issue.

trying to remove the rear center headrest in an 07' Imp wagon. I took the side ones off because they limited rear view, and though it is smaller, it still distracts when looking in the rear mirror, along with the loom for the center belt.

do they still put Cosmoline (sp?) on imported cars? I have seen white plastic sheets on the top surfaces, but not the stuff they used to coat the cars with. I have some in strange spots that looks like it. The lug nuts are coated, and some on the brake calipers, a bunch

Recently, my Subaru Legacy '96 started showing the check engine light for about a minute every time i start it When i start the car,RPM's go up to 2000 and then start fluctuatin between 1500 and 1000.This is when the check engine light comes on.O

Hi. I have a 1992 Legacy 2.2L with Turbo AWD. I have read that the differential ratio is different for the turbo than the non-turbo. And, of course, both front differential and rear differential must be the same ratio. I can test the rear differential ratio without disassembling

Your local gas station probably offers you 3 levels of gasoline, like gold, silver and bronze. These typically have different levels of octane in them and you will generally get a little better mileage for the more expensive type.
