| Subaru Forester | 12 Sep 2007 23:13 GMT | 1 |
Hi I have a Subaru Forester 2003. The check engine line came on and I finally diagnosed the problem with an X431 Scanner. It gave me a P0118 code meaning Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor Circuit High. What does that mean?

| OBD II software | 12 Sep 2007 22:20 GMT | 10 |
Both of my kids drive 2000 Impreza RS. Boy's one is souped up. Thinking about getting a PC(notebook) based OBD II software. I already have ELM serial interface box. Any suggestions/recommendations of which is good one to purchase?

| 99 Legacy Outback rear brakes barely working | 12 Sep 2007 18:41 GMT | 6 |
The rear brakes on my 99 Legacy Outback are barely working. They are disc brakes and the first clue was the brake pedal is very soft and needs pushing a long way to get much braking. The second clue was I raised up the back of the car and even with someone pressing on the

| Easy way to check gas mileage? | 12 Sep 2007 13:46 GMT | 17 |
I have about 600miles on the Imp 2.5i 5M and haven't been babying it, though trying not to rev it too high yet. Started with a full tank and added some gas here and there and rough figuring it looks like 30mpg, which I doubt. Though I've put a good bit on on highways, I haven't

| 90's Legacy Wagon, not Outback (Brighton? or base) stalling problem | 12 Sep 2007 03:34 GMT | 1 |
I'm looking at a 90's Legacy wagon, 335,000 miles (!!) but nice engine and trans, but has a habit of intermittantly stalling out 20 minutes after fully warming up. The car is in decent shape, the trans was recently replaced (although with

| Radio bulb replacement | 11 Sep 2007 19:14 GMT | 3 |
The radio dial light has gone out and I would like to replace the bulb. However, I cannot figure out how to get the radio out (2000 Outback, P120) and cannot find a replacement bulb listed on the internet. I wonder if the inability to find a replacement bulb

| Starting on steep hills, especially when slippery | 11 Sep 2007 17:21 GMT | 6 |
I'm a bit disapointed in the ability of my 2005 Outback 2.5i with MT to start out on a steep hill. I notice that it seems especially hesitant to start if the wheels are on a low traction surface. It almost feels like the car is putting all of its energy into working

| Getting used to the Sube | 11 Sep 2007 14:49 GMT | 5 |
It's different than any car I have started driving before. Subtle changes in seat position, and tire pressures seems to have helped a lot, making it easier to drive and shift smoothly, and getting the ride to my liking.

| Static Charge and interior coating | 11 Sep 2007 04:15 GMT | 5 |
The inside of my new Impreza seems to attract anything that is airborne, and there was a coating on the inside of the windows that was impossible to get off with window cleaner till I Spit on the rag. Learned that trick when following a sooty Semi in a drizzle at dusk,

| Seat Heater | 11 Sep 2007 02:14 GMT | 11 |
Have a 2003 LL Bean Outback 3.0 Seems like the seat heater has only a low and high switch no off position. Here in California I really don't need a seat heater, any way shutting

| extra brake pedal travel on 05 Impreza Outback Sport | 10 Sep 2007 22:29 GMT | 1 |
Hi, all. A part of a previous post we never really got to discussing... when I first got the car, brake pedal was quite tight and firm. Barely had to press it down for the brakes to engage.

| Tire Squeal | 10 Sep 2007 16:25 GMT | 2 |
On my new Forester 2.5XT, I have 215/55R tires. They squeal when going around corners moderatly. I haven't pushed it yet as the engine isn't broken in yet (600 miles do far). I went around the same corners at the same speed with my '91 Jeep and the tires didn't squeal. Anyone ...

| Wheel Locks | 10 Sep 2007 16:07 GMT | 4 |
what is so protective about wheel locks, when anyone can buy the took to take them off at the same place you do? If they see what type you have, they would just have to go buy the set. It would make it a Little more trouble. I Guess that is the protection.

| Impreza suspensions? | 10 Sep 2007 05:53 GMT | 17 |
how stiff are they? I washed and waxed my 2.5i today and tried to bounce the car, and could hardly move it. How stiff are the WRX and STI? Must not even budge. VF
