Breaking in10 Dec 2007 01:08 GMT13
the Impreza 2.5i wagon seems to be giving in, and not fighting.)
Shifting out of first could be a wee bit easier, but will do, if it
doesn't get better. Hard to believe the lumbar is getting softer, and
not feeling like it is sticking in my back. Maybe I'm bending to it.
06 Impreza Sedan snow tires09 Dec 2007 23:06 GMT3
The stock tire for the 06 Impreza is 205-55-r16, wide with low profile.  I'd
like to put snow tires on and I'm considering and alternate size.
195-65-r15 is the same diameter within .1".  I think I'd be much better off
with this narrower, higher profile tire (1/2" in sidewall) in ...

Oxygen sensor08 Dec 2007 02:34 GMT4
I will need to change the oxygen sensor on my 2001 Outback. Have never
done that - seems unless you go to the dealer they come without the
plug? Can you re-use the plug or get it somewhere else? Any
recommendations on the sensor?

HELP! FWD light is on.07 Dec 2007 19:14 GMT16
For no apparent reason my FWD light came on and I'm stuck in my own driveway
(it snowed about 2 feet here last night).  The car is a 97 Outback, and this
has never happened before.  Automatic transmission, no other warning lights
are on.
Knock in 92 Loyale engine07 Dec 2007 02:37 GMT8
My daughter's 1992 Loyale with about 70,000 miles has always had an
occasional engine knock.  It sounds like lifters knocking and is not
consistent.  It is more prone to do it when cold but can do it when hot as
well.  I have had my mechanic check it (works on Subarus mostly) and ...
2007 Legacy Wagon (not Outback) 17" wheels07 Dec 2007 00:14 GMT1
This is a post regarding the 2007 Legacy Wagon...
Last of its kind.
Had test driven a used 2005 Legacy Wagon, liked it enough  to have the
dealer find a brand new 2007 Limited
Trailer hitch for 07 Outback06 Dec 2007 20:58 GMT5
Anybody have the factory hitch on an Outback? What about aftermarket? In the
Subaru website the receiver looks pretty well hidden but the picture is from
above so it's not a good angle to see for sure how it fits. Any
recomendations?
frozen door locks06 Dec 2007 04:02 GMT8
the door locks on my '02 legacy wagon froze up last week - the
solenoids tried, but couldn't move, and it took about an hour to get
the last one open.
is there a recommended way to lubricate them?

'99 Forester fuel cut???04 Dec 2007 16:03 GMT4
Having fun with my new (well, new to me, anyway) Forry the other day,
I found what feels like a fuel cutoff happening when I attempt to
accelerate thru 110MPH. Backed off and tried it again, same thing, and
right at 110. Definitely not a rev-limiter issue, as the motor was
Guidance wanted (1998 Legacy Outback Tail Lights)04 Dec 2007 15:51 GMT1
A few weeks ago, I discovered my passenger-side tail light smashed,
and so I bought a replacement.
I've been pouring over my Haynes manual for instructions on how to
swap the replacement in, and I can't find anything (Maybe it's just
Oil in spark plug sleeves03 Dec 2007 06:13 GMT34
Today I had my 2002 Subaru Legacy Wagon (150,000km) into my local mechanic
(dealership is too far away for anything but big stuff...) to replace a worn
belt. It had been running rough at idle so I asked him to see if maybe I
needed the spark plugs replaced or perhaps have a tune ...
