I recently got a speeding ticket in my 2000 Subaru Outback 2.5 Auto. I got the ticket on a very steep incline and was supposedly clocked at 77 mph in a 65 zone. I did not think I was going that fast and have since tried to duplicate the 77 mph the officer said I was going on

| Breaking in | 10 Dec 2007 01:08 GMT | 13 |
the Impreza 2.5i wagon seems to be giving in, and not fighting.) Shifting out of first could be a wee bit easier, but will do, if it doesn't get better. Hard to believe the lumbar is getting softer, and not feeling like it is sticking in my back. Maybe I'm bending to it.

| 06 Impreza Sedan snow tires | 09 Dec 2007 23:06 GMT | 3 |
The stock tire for the 06 Impreza is 205-55-r16, wide with low profile. I'd like to put snow tires on and I'm considering and alternate size. 195-65-r15 is the same diameter within .1". I think I'd be much better off with this narrower, higher profile tire (1/2" in sidewall) in ...

| Knock in 92 Loyale engine | 07 Dec 2007 02:37 GMT | 8 |
My daughter's 1992 Loyale with about 70,000 miles has always had an occasional engine knock. It sounds like lifters knocking and is not consistent. It is more prone to do it when cold but can do it when hot as well. I have had my mechanic check it (works on Subarus mostly) and ...

| Trailer hitch for 07 Outback | 06 Dec 2007 20:58 GMT | 5 |
Anybody have the factory hitch on an Outback? What about aftermarket? In the Subaru website the receiver looks pretty well hidden but the picture is from above so it's not a good angle to see for sure how it fits. Any recomendations?

| '99 Forester fuel cut??? | 04 Dec 2007 16:03 GMT | 4 |
Having fun with my new (well, new to me, anyway) Forry the other day, I found what feels like a fuel cutoff happening when I attempt to accelerate thru 110MPH. Backed off and tried it again, same thing, and right at 110. Definitely not a rev-limiter issue, as the motor was

| Guidance wanted (1998 Legacy Outback Tail Lights) | 04 Dec 2007 15:51 GMT | 1 |
A few weeks ago, I discovered my passenger-side tail light smashed, and so I bought a replacement. I've been pouring over my Haynes manual for instructions on how to swap the replacement in, and I can't find anything (Maybe it's just
