I'm trying to pull the transmission out of an '01 Legacy in my garage,
in order to replace the clutch.  Well, after getting all the
surrounding accessories taken apart and disconnected, I took off the

The socket or pigtail or whatever its called that plugs
into the headlamp is needing replaced as its corroded
and appears to be somewhat melted.... causing her

Does anyone know where the cabin air intake is located and whether

I've noticed that the items mentioned on the maintenance schedule
reccomended by the dealer does not match Subaru's maintenace schedule. I've
also done some research and found that is the norm, regardless of
manufacturer and dealer. My questions are:

I just picked the car up from the dealer.  Unfortunatley the tech who
worked on the car was not there and the service manager did not know

My buddy has a 04 Subaru, after his original tires wore out, he went to
a tire dealer here in the NE and they recommended Michelin Symethry
tires, to make this brief, they are showing wear at 12,000 miles, and I
think they are to have a 65K mile rating, he took the car back and ...

Just had my 04 Forester XS serviced at my independent mechanics shop. He
diagnosed leaking rear camshaft bearing and said it would be covered under
warranty. (87,000km) on the car). Has this been a known problem or just one
of those things? ANything else that should get done ...

I feel lucky to work at a reputable Subaru dealership. I see no cheating or
trying to milk money out of the customer, but people trying to fix cars.
Some customers may say otherwise, but there are two sides to a story.. here
are some of ours:

a manual. As I understand it, the manual trans and auto trans have different
AWD systems. My question is
are both models "true" AWD all the time with a central differential action
