| Warmed up or not?! | 16 Feb 2008 23:21 GMT | 8 |
Good morning: An odd thing this morning: it was a very cold night (-20C), and when I started my Subie this morning, the temperature gauge indicated the engine was warm more quickly than I would have normally expected. I got out of the

| where is the other fuse box on wrx? | 16 Feb 2008 17:49 GMT | 4 |
I blew the cigarette lighter's fuse by plugging in a bad adapter in a 2002 impreza wrx. The main fuse box is on the driver side under the hood, but that is not where the blew fuse is. I believe it is in a separate fuse box, but I can't

| Deja Vu all over again! | 16 Feb 2008 17:22 GMT | 8 |
When I last left you all, I had, once again, had problems with rough running engine. On my way to work, it was so bad I drove car into dealership instead. They looked at it, diagnosed a need for an "evap vent". OK... $250.00. But installing this caused problems with the wiring ...

| Gas milage | 16 Feb 2008 13:55 GMT | 16 |
My 1999 OB 2.2 has lost efficiency. On the highway at the speed limit it used to get 30 mpg. Now it is only 24. That's serious! Back in 1950, I would change the plugs, the condenser, and the points, and adjust the timing with my trusty strobe. Nowadays I have no clue.

| 02' Forester rack and pinion | 14 Feb 2008 23:14 GMT | 1 |
I took my 02 Forester to the dealer to have a broken axle boot replaced. I also asked them to check an overflow of the power steering fluid tank that splattered fluid all over the front of the engine. I found that the cap on the PS fluid reservoir was loose.

HI, I've owned older BMW's for years, including a high mileage 88 325 ix (240k). I have started to look at replacing it with a 1995-99 Subaru Outback wagon. Is there a check list out there of things I should know about when inspection one of the cars? Any model year to stay away ...

| Overheating Subaru Legacy AWD Wagon... | 13 Feb 2008 04:17 GMT | 27 |
1997 Subaru AWD wagon, "L" model, basic car. Replaced coolant and thermostat and ran car static for an hour at a time about 3 times. Would initially overheat (when I replaced the coolant), cold air coming from the heater, then heat started coming from the vents and the guage went ...

| Hello, 06 WRX | 13 Feb 2008 01:12 GMT | 1 |
Got it home and son started driving this week. IMO, it's better than '08. Having Nokian WRi tires/rims installed on coming Saturday. Will chuck the OEM Potenza tires when spring comes. Any suggestions for summer tires for this car?

| Everything old is new again... | 12 Feb 2008 22:49 GMT | 12 |
And... only a week or so later.... the *&^&*&! check engine light has come on again tonight. I could scream in frustration! Legacy 2002, 150,000 kilometers (96,933 miles)

| Legacy | 12 Feb 2008 15:09 GMT | 4 |
I've been a Honda enthusiast for the past 10 years. I haven't been happy that the Accord is now larger than some SUVs and the Civic which would be my ideal size is too ugly with the two tiered dash to try to like it.

| 2005 Legacy 3.0R VDC | 11 Feb 2008 01:52 GMT | 10 |
I recently bought a Legacy Outback sedan, the 3.0R, having been told that it had Vehicle Dynamics Control, but now I'm starting to wonder. Reading the owner's manual, I see that there is supposed to be a VDC light that comes on when you start the car, to indicate that VDC is

| lifter noise | 10 Feb 2008 20:06 GMT | 1 |
I just had an oil change done on my 2003 OBS. The mechanic made sure to mention that my timing belt was due, but also mentioned that the engine was noisy (lifters.) In the factory timing belt service, do they adjust lifters? The
