floor mats08 Mar 2008 21:25 GMT4
For those of us with snowy and dirty shoes, what is
a decent floor mat for a 2006 Forrester?  And, where is a
good place to buy it?
Many thanks,
Questions about older vehicles08 Mar 2008 13:34 GMT3
I'm looking at a Mint 86' turbo 4cyl Mustang, with 10K mi on it, that
I have wanted since 84' when the model first came out.  I went to look
at a similar one on my way to the Sube dealer to buy my 07' Impreza,
and debated whether to buy it, or both, but that one had a few issues.
Cost of replacing a clutch on a '00 Subaru Impreza08 Mar 2008 01:44 GMT7
I would like an estimate of what it may cost to replace the clutch on
my 2000 Impreza.  I have done multiple searches and found the price
range for this service on no specific car, and for the Impreza
specifically, I have found the price of do-it-yourself clutch kits.

2005 WRX Turbo - Good purchase?06 Mar 2008 03:59 GMT2
We are looking at purchasing a 2005 Impreza WRX Turbo.  It does have
122,000 miles on it (I know kind of high for a newer vehicle).
What would be a fair price in todays market, a dealer is asking
$10,000?  And what are the common problems to look for with this type
Speed at 3000 rpm?05 Mar 2008 16:40 GMT4
Someone asked a few months ago about what speed their 02 or so Subaru should
be running at 3000 rpm.  Its seldom that I get mine up to that speed  around
here, but did today...82 mph at 3000 rpm in 02 Beam Outback (auto trans with
overdrive top gear?).
2006 vs 2005 forester Consumer Reports ratings?04 Mar 2008 01:18 GMT7
I am on a used car hunt.  I have a line on a
2006 forrester that looks good.
The Comsumer's Reports used car buying guide
for 2007 says that the 2005 forrester is a good buy.
1995 Legacy (Starting Issues)03 Mar 2008 21:29 GMT6
My 95 Legacy L, with 160K miles, wouldn't start today......brand new
battery, purchased a couple of weeks ago, and the car has worked fine since
I bought the battery.   Now, when I turn the key, everything lights up, but,
all I get is a "clicking" noise.....the car doesn't even ...
95 Subaru wagon that won't start after turning off the engine03 Mar 2008 21:27 GMT4
We gave our daughter a 95 Subaru wagon.  She lives a couple of states
away from us now, and her Subaru has started refusing to start after
she turns off the engine.  She goes to the store, comes back out, and
the car won't start.  After quite a while, it will start and she can
using K&N air filter and Check Engine Light?03 Mar 2008 21:10 GMT8
hi fellow soobies :)
I recently switched to using a K&N air filter in our 2005 Forester ... a few
weeks later Check Engine Light came on (solid not flashing) ... is this a
coincidence or can the high flow air filter cause something in the system to
Head and Tail Lights Won't Go Off on 2003 Forester03 Mar 2008 13:37 GMT20
Yep, that's my problem in the Subject. I had to disconnect the battery
tonight. Possibly the timer is defective that turns out the lights when the
the ignition is turned off while the lights are on. It may have been
precipitated by an earlier event. A woman had drained her ...

on startup in cold weather (it was -16 this morning), my '02 legacy

and if i try using the defroster, it sucks the smell straight into the

microfilter on 2003 Forrester?02 Mar 2008 23:26 GMT2
I am on a used car hunt.  I noticed the
2006 Forrester has a microfilter (air filter)
and that the 2003 does not.  Can a microfilter
be added to the 2003 as an option? Retrofitted?

Does the 2006 Forrester with a 4 cyl engine
