The light for check engine came on and remained that way after I ytuned engine off and turned it back on. Then the next day, it disppaeared. This happened in about a week after 30 k mile miantenance check.

Any idea where the ODB connector is in a 2002 wrx? What type is it A or B? Can any general purpose ODB II reader be used? I'm interested in PC-based reader because of the software flexibility. Any recommendations on hardware and software (trying to keep it under $100)?

Picking up a new Forester 2.5X Premium. When I took the car out for a test drive I was impressed with the vehicle except for the 4 speaker audio system. They offer a subwoofer and tweeter option. Will this help improve the sound considerably or should a spend the money on better ...

97 Outback 2.5 dohc misfiring on 1 & 3 at idle. Around 50k miles on the engine. Runs great on the road or highway. Idles really rough and codes misfires on 1 & 3 which we know are on the same side of the engine.

My 93 Legacy Turbo has had the same valve lifter rattle for the last 10 years, (& +130K miles). I've tried just about everything I can find on the net over the years including removing the valve cover and an oil galley plug to clean.
