when is it due?

CEL, Rough Idle, Smoke15 Aug 2008 03:28 GMT2
The CEL on my 04 WRX came on about a week ago. I brought it to my
Mech. right away and had it cleared.
Seemed to be a problem with The Mass Airflow Sensor. Easy enough
right. The problem was solved for about 30mins. The CEL came on again.
Overheating 3.0 Outback has a head gasket leak--Should I be leery of     long-term problems upon repair?14 Aug 2008 23:43 GMT1
Hi there: I posted about a month ago about temperature spiking issues
I am having with a 2006 Outback 3.0 with 35,000 miles on it, and
received several helpful responses on this list. Now I am in search of
some additional help with new details about the problem.
impreza wrx misfire P030214 Aug 2008 14:16 GMT5
I was driving my 2002 wrx on freeway and suddenly the engine became
rough and the check engine light came on. The car was still drivable
but shaking all the way. Using a code scanner I got "P0302" which
means cylinder #2 misfire.

I have just checked my ODB codes and the results are puzzling:

24 : Air Control Valve or circuit

dashboard light out14 Aug 2008 03:25 GMT2
The green light illuminating the mileage on my '04 OBW has burned out.
Other dashboard lights work and it's not a fuse problem.  How can I fix
this myself?

Forester 2002, OBD code P017214 Aug 2008 02:38 GMT11
P0172 "Fuel trim malfunction (A/F too rich)"
The car is misfiring intermittently. Sudden loss of power,
hesitation, jerking, rough idle. The code came up twice
after clearing but it takes weeks before the CEL comes up
Replacement battery cap, 2006 Impreza13 Aug 2008 21:05 GMT5
So I went to check the oil in my wife's 2006 Impreza wagon, glance over &
see one of the battery caps is missing.  I figure I must have left it off
the last time I added water to the battery, though of course I don't
remember doing so.  Looked around the general area of the ...

air bag light on--- $42.00 to hook up computer to tell me that it needs a
harness kit for under the front seat at $102.17+taxes to fix. If there is a
repair harness to me that means the problem is design or build based and
should be subaru's responsibility. My 98 forrester ...
E85 vs E10 in a 1999 OBW13 Aug 2008 15:02 GMT5
It has been three months since I last reported on the conversion of my
1999 Outback to flex-fuel.  Here is what I have found:
MPG=miles/gallon; MPD=miles/dollar
Suburban E10: 25 MPG; E85: 21 MPG
Which replacement tires for Subaru Forester?13 Aug 2008 03:27 GMT16
I had an unrepairable flat and had no choice but to replace all four
tires on my 2006 Forester XS. Since I was using the small-size spare
Sears kind of had me over a barrel because I didn't dare drive to work
on the highway on the spare. I bought Michelin Primacy MX4 tires but I
Tire repair question and replacement tires13 Aug 2008 03:19 GMT19
I have a 2006 Forester which unfortunately keeps picking up nails in
the same tire. I have the OE Geolanders, 25K miles. This time
Firestone told me they are not allowed to patch the same tire more
than three times because it is dangerous. That's one that neither my
00 Forester - Central MA - ( CV joint/axle cost and bolts/fasteners     for splash guard )12 Aug 2008 14:59 GMT2
CV on my 2000 Forester L recently started clicking. I am at about 130k
miles... pretty much a low mileage car now. Local trips for the wife
only. I don't think the CV is in too bad shape just yet, but it should
be fixed before winter.
