1997 Legacy 2.2L Radiator mystery tubes11 Aug 2008 05:27 GMT1
My daughter has a 1997 Legacy 2.2L, 5 speed, and it has begun recently to
overheat, but only rarely.  I looked at it, and found the reservoir tank
dry, and no coolant in the radiator.  Also noticed two brass tubes coming
out of the side of the radiator on the same side as the ...
2001 Subaru Outback fuse problems09 Aug 2008 17:54 GMT3
Okay, so just the other day, I noticed my power mirrors and cigarette lighter
don't work.  When I check the fuse diagram, they're both on the same fuse,
and when I went to replace that fuse, I noticed it was blown.  So I replaced
it, and sure enough neither of them worked.  So I ...
Bleeding cooling system air09 Aug 2008 11:24 GMT1
I think we all know how Subies are about trapped air pockets when
refilling coolant...
I also have an old Toyota truck w/ the 22-R engine, which some of you
know is also a problem child WRT trapped air. I've had a couple of 'em,
FORESTER BATTERY08 Aug 2008 15:35 GMT2
I've been wondering about the health of the battery in my wife's 2002
Outback sport. Water levels get checked every oil change and that's
about it. So I was glad to learn of battery longevity in your Forester.

Forester Battery07 Aug 2008 18:38 GMT2
This audience might like to know:
Yesterday I replaced the original equipment battery in my wife's 1999
Forester, bought new in October 1988.
I was really hoping the battery would last the full 10 years, but she was
Headlight lens for my Legacy Outback05 Aug 2008 23:59 GMT5
Hello group.  Purchased a '96 OBW that had been in a front - ender.
They had replaced the damaged side with a new lens assy.  So far so
good.  But now I have a crystal clear lens (the replaced one) and a
sun-cracked, yellowed-with-age one.  I need just the lens, but am told I
Changing Headlight on '98 Legacy Outback?05 Aug 2008 22:40 GMT10
Okay, so what's the joke?  The driver's side headlight blew on The
Beast, our '98 Legacy Outback.  Seems straight forward enough...
unhook the metal clippy thingy, pull out the bulb gizmo, and then
what?  She won't come free, the electrical connection – the beige
CV joints04 Aug 2008 20:40 GMT6
hi all, need to replace both front outer CV joints on my 91 legacy gt turbo,
i can get full shafts complete from a friend, these are in great order, for
me replacing the full shaft with both cvs and boots already attached is a
straight forward job.
awd and park04 Aug 2008 17:18 GMT6
Not to ask too stupid a question, but in AWD,
are all four wheels locked in park or just the
front two or just the back two?
Many thanks,
Roof Racks04 Aug 2008 06:47 GMT9
My 2008 Forester came with installed roof racks and a warning about
them giving me the impression that they are of little value UNLESS I
buy and install another roof rack apparatus that will attach to the
one already there?  Is that right?  All I wanted to do was to haul my
Where is fuel pump relay connector in a wrx?03 Aug 2008 15:55 GMT1
I'm looking in the shop manual of a 2002 WRX page FU-51 where it describes
disconnecting the fuel pump relay. The illustration (EN0344) does not show
enough context to figure out the general vicinity of the connector, or the
size.
air suspension, Legacy 250T03 Aug 2008 10:16 GMT1
Hey everyone, my first post here.
My 1999 250T station wagon with air suspension has recently been "sitting
down" at the front after parking overnight. It resets to normal height after
a short drive. The trouble is I'm scratching the front spoiler backing out
88 GL Wagon: Has anyone had this problem?02 Aug 2008 17:30 GMT5
this 88 GL wagon will start and run great for about 10 minutes and
then just die. I hit the key right away and it just turns over for
about 2 minutes and then fires right off like there was never a
problem. This will continue on and on. I’ve checked all the likely
2001 Outback knock sensor replacement on the 2.5l engine01 Aug 2008 18:13 GMT2
I have a trouble code that keeps coming up.  P0328 Knock sensor bank

where can I get an engine diagram for this car.   :?
